Your argument against the new health care law is that it doesn't address law suit reform that affects less than 1% of the annual health care costs, including all settlements, and lawyers fees. Well, if you want to oppose any Democratic patient's rights bills that protect the patient from doctors that are incompetent, and reward them for cutting off the wrong leg, or killing you on the operation table, be my guest. I'm not paying 15k a year for insurance when I spend less than 500 a year for prescriptions and doctor visits with no insurance. They will get billions of dollars from people that won't use the insurance much and it'll just go to offshore banks aswell. So why didn't the bill introduce legislation to open up competition between insurance companies across state lines? Why didn't it include a provisions to allow us to legally buy drugs from india and canada for less?

Why didn't it include a provision to implement tort law and reduce rediculous and frivolous lawsuits?
