  • The POWER <-------

How good am I fighting it!

  • i love this song, can't wait to see him in london, i know i will cry when he sings this track x

  • @thea5shley.... He's playing the oran mor in Glasgow in march... Google it!!!

  • a fucking love this song so much a so wish a could see them live COME TO SCOTLAND XXXXXX

  • Just the emotion, going through the same thing. As a dad struggling to stay in his daughters life. Because she is my world. This album i just can connect with, its one of their best.

  • Definately one of my favorite songs! Lyrics are so powerful. I just posted a cover of it, and I've never been more passionate about a song.

  • "Same gate 14 where honestly I'm just sick of calling your bluff." "Maybe then I could learn to swim like 14 miles away." "I've got 14 angels and we're sleeping alone." I wonder if there's a sentimental reason for his use of 14 so often.

  • @Aries13m Possibly his daughter's birthday?

  • @NiceTowers yea I never thought of that. Good point. I knew there had to be some reason... Now I wonder, how many miles did he really swim? How many angels were there really? And what gate did he wait for her at?

  • @Aries13m I think it might be because he started writing songs when he was 14. :)

  • "I might have been gone but I never walked out."

    :'(

  • I was at this show.. Drove from Florida.. They were sooo worth it and it was an incredible day!!!! Funny I can hear myself "Woooo" in the background! lol

  • This is easily my favorite song by them, ever. I wish it had a music video! Listen to this song, and read his letter to blue, if you don't cry then you are a heartless **********. Haha.

  • 1Cajungirlie- I would have to say that you are correct. Like many individuals, I first bought the CD about a year after Hate Me and Into the Ocean was on the mainstream radio, but after buying the CD Foiled for the last time, I have indeed gone away from Hate Me as a Favorite. I now own all of their CDs and I enjoy the songs that only true Blue October fans are familiar with. I have to say that their live CDs and live performances are by far better than anything on a CD - very rare for music!

  • I had two twins, the cutest children I could ever imagine. I loved them so much, then my wife divorced me and took the twins... I haven't seen them in 2 years and I have no idea where they are. Blue October really gets me on my feet.

  • I have to thank you a LOT! I wanted to see BO on this tour, but I am disabled and can't sit thru concerts anymore....amazing footage...I know your pain...I'm a grama but have been there done that and it's only the kids who come out on the short end of the stick~ super glad you can see your babies~ i watched an interview that Justin gave pertaining to this album...he said he's only seen Blue a total of 3-4 WEEKS in her little life...wish they'd have gone on the road with him!

  • Most beautiful song that I have heard in a long time. I am glad that I found this band by their mainstream song Hate Me and I decided to buy another album because their music is not matched by any other artist. Thanks for your dedication to quality music Blue October!

  • @roadbikejamaal ...

now that you have more of their music, don't you find that HATE ME is one of your least favorite songs???

  • houghts.

  • I'm not a divorcee, more of a child of a divorce, but this song still holds years of meaning to me. My parents divorced when I was too young to remember, and most of my life I was shuffled from house to house like a possession, being unallowed to contact my father by my narcissistic mother. I can't count how many birthdays and holidays I sat there, using my one birthday or Christmas wish to ask 'Why can't daddy be here too?'. I don't mean to sound sappy or attention seeking, I'm just sharing my

  • No divorce for me thanks to the amazing love, understanding and tolorance from a wonderful woman of 16 years. This loving family of mine that cringes through my lows but then forgets and loves me unconditionally. I truely wish Justin finds that and gets to spend many long years with his precious gift, Blue.

  • I had a Dad who abused of me, and Justin is such a inspiration to trust that there´s a good daddy´s somewhere, and I love what he´s doing for his daughter! So, I can say to all that parents that you have to be strong enough for you children... This song is amazing, Justin is amazing...

  • (cont'd) treated like borderline criminals in many cases...Being told they can only see their child every other week and maybe 2 or 3 weeks during the summer. A child needs two parents (in most cases). Not a mom and an "occasional visitor".

PS Youtube really needs to give more space!

  • I was listening to this album in my car on the way to work and when I heard that line: "I know that God exists...I held her in my arms" I lost it right there on the spot. It made me think of my son and how much he means to me. Unlike Justin, I'm fortunate enough that my son and his Mommy are together (and I hope we stay that way lol) but God forbid anything did happen, his words were so inspirational and a testimony to how strong a father's love is. Sadly enough, divorced dads ARE (cont'd)

  • Justin truly puts his life issues into his talent. I bow down to you .Do what it is to get ya thru it. WE ALL LOVE YOU!

  • Wont be whole till i see these guys live:)

  • As a TRUE Blue fan, as well as the videographer for the video you just watched, I can say I truly know and feel his pain. Having recently gone through a divorce, and having two young daughters of my own (the oldest being only a month apart from the same age as Blue), I do know what it is like to lay in bed with such agony. I gave up everything I was entitled to from the divorce, to use as a bargaining tool to keep my precious angels from being taken to Australia, where their mother is from.

  • @jclayinsa Stay strong brother; you're not alone. Keep fighting for your girls!

  • @TimWarrior Thank you my friend.

  • @jclayinsa i feel you brother. stay strong for all the Dads. I miss my daughter when she isn't with me but i see her 3 to 4 days out of the week, and i still pay child support, but she is truly worth everything I love going to Waterloo when i go to Austin. this looks like it was an amazing show. Check out my blue October videos, i also took great video from shows here in Houston.

  • If you are a TRUE Blue October fan...you know how much heart and weight this song carries. A father who has his child taken from his daily life. Think of that moment when you realize the impact a divorce will have on the relationship between you and a daughter. Justin wears it like a mask and althugh the music and performances are a release for him....he still has to lay in bed after these concerts and blanket himself with that agony.

  • I can't listen to this enough...absolute perfection in musical form!!

  • raping the replay button

  • Soo bad ass..Every bit worth the wait!

  • favorite song on the album...thanks so much for posting this!

  • I lOVE LOVE LOVE this song!!! Thank you guys for continuing your tradition of truly great music. I wonder how many times I'll need to listen to this song before it stops putting a lump in my throat & tears in my eyes....I also wonder why I love songs that have that effect on me! lol
