  • What if the rocks are rich in an element that the algae has an affinity for and allows it to proliferate; not necessarily an outside source of "food" such as a run-off rich in Phosphates or anything like that.

I'm not sure how to tell her this, but filamentous algae is naturally occurring in healthy streams. And WTF is up wit the "rock" theory, seriously??!! "OK, put this rock on the ground.   • @2184roberto Hey! Why so mean? I helped make these videos to education home owners in our region. I was still learning about all this when I was asked to be in the film. Really don't understand why you'd be so hateful.
