@strpurege first: sure they start a race and one of them don't try to win, that makes really sense at all. second: the car you mean passed by on the side at 0:22 they just repassed it. the audi didn't had to change his lane at this point there was no car infront of them. this video was made on a four lane freeway, you can see that multible times in the video. and as last point you can see the same at 0:42 where the r35 wins the start again but the audi wins the race.

I understand the 750 HP Audi beat the GTR, but if you go through the video - in the first race the GTR is in 5th gear before the Audi passes (at around 230 KM/H). The next two races the GTR is in 4th, with the slowest speed the Audi passes it is about 190 KM/H. Talk all you want about weight differences (the GTR beats many cars that is weighs more than) - but that doesn't say much for the 750 HP Audi - especially when you see the P800 crush it in another dragtimes video. Peace.

@nagmashot I'm not sure how much racing you do - but even if we listen to your own words - the STOCK GT-R held the 750 HP RS6 until 170 KM/Hr (which is about 106 MPH) before passing it quite easily.
Now if we look at the first race - the RS6 passed at about 226 km/hr (141 MPH).
If you type Audi RS6 Evotech 750 hp vs Nissan GT-R 530hp part 1 (and 2) in the Youtube search field you will see what a minimal increase to the GT-R does to affect this race. Let's not even talk about the P800.
I am 42 and I race in a local Clubchampionship 12 sprint races(30laps) each year and several endurance races between 4-12h that is enough "race" experience!
The GT-R has a short geared dual clutch transmission build for good 1/4mile times, the RS6 has for comfort reason a normal 6speed automatic gearbox! That is the only reason why the stock GT-R gets of the line quicker, the RS6 is a 2to luxury sedan, at high speeds on the Autobahn that RS6 would walk the GT-R even with 530hp
@nagmashot While I agree that the stock CBA GT-R lacks mid to top end power as it is short geared - to say that the RS6 would "walk" a GT-R on the Autobahn. As to my understanding - the RS6 V-10 makes 580 HP stock and after removing the restriction to the top end - has a maximum speed of 170 MPH (again stock). So at a stock level - the GT-R will walk the RS6 anywhere. Obviously the V10 has a great deal of upgradeability. Very cool race experience by the way...
911 turbo PDK would be the same result with the GTR. Both 911 and GTR have amazing traction and acceleration, and it would beat any AUDI any time off the start.
@Jamzkangster I agree - and no it is not suprising. Even the new Audi TT RS has a sub 4 second 0-60 - stock. What is impressive is that - in the first race at least - it took a 750 HP modded car 227 KM/H to pass a stock 485 HP 4000 lb car.

Also, gets more of its power to the ground. Thats why if a 750HP Porsche 911 or GTR raced this Audi, it would be no competition imo.

@Gazzawey thing is there are 1k HP skylines and they'd just humiliate the audi. In a 1/4 mile even this GTR has a chance, by the time audi catches up the race would be pretty much over. And 480 VS 750 HP, that's a 300hp difference and yet the car goes like hell. Audi has a lot more of everything but still sucks, and the price is a lot higher.

I'd like to see the gtr with the same H.P as that Audi. 750hp vs 450hp just isn't fair. Having said that, the GTR didn't embarrass itself by wasting that Audi off the line. In fact I think it showed exactly why super car owners think twice about revving their engines next to a R35 at the traffic lights. Starting something they can't finish! R35 FTW.

The GTR is a beast from a dig, but at rolling speeds it's nothing but a 480hp 3900lb car. I've seen stock older C5 Z06 Corvettes beat them from rolling speeds. All their capabilities lie in a dig race and on an open track.
gtr beat rs6 in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. only lost on 4th gear and beyond. in a 1/8 and 1/4 mile, gtr would have won. hks570 will be too fast for the rs6, but stage 2(530 hp) would do just fine and equally against the rs6. p800 is not in the same league since it is veyron fast.
It's just amazed how GT-R keeps up with RS 6 up to 200 km/h, 4WD does it's job, later audi hp makes it fly away, but GT-R is clearly masterpice, no doubt!

@ivantnt26 The Audi RS6 is only 276 KG heavier than the GTR but still the Audi has 270 BHP more than the GTR, even still the GTR still gave him a good race considering the disadvantages...

The GTR is a beast from a dig, but at rolling speeds it's nothing but a 480hp 3900lb car. I've seen stock older C5 Z06 Corvettes beat them from rolling speeds. All their capabilities lie in a dig race and on an open track.

tuned vs. stock .... i think the GTR is fast enough but its not a fair battle because the RS6 is tuned but great starting from the GTR btw

gtr beat rs6 in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. only lost on 4th gear and beyond. in a 1/8 and 1/4 mile, gtr would have won. hks570 will be too fast for the rs6, but stage 2(530 hp) would do just fine and equally against the rs6. p800 is not in the same league since it is veyron fast.

It's just amazed how GT-R keeps up with RS 6 up to 200 km/h, 4WD does it's job, later audi hp makes it fly away, but GT-R is clearly masterpice, no doubt!
