The kindle app on the iPad's UI is not that nice, unless you put it on portrait mode. The iBook app is slick and even on landscape mode it looks nice. Paper books are still the way to go, infinite battery life and you can hit it with the hammer without breaking the screen, lol.

Do you get a headache from reading on the iPad? I have never tried eReading devices, only had a brief look at Kindle, but since iPad is screen and not that electronic ink thingy I was just concerned about reading fatigue. Anyone knows? :)

@RumuhAlg It doesn't give the whole book, it gives you a sample. Hence why it is called "Sample".

you don't have to email them to yourself.

Import ANY PDF file or EPUB file in iTunes library.

Sync it and they all show up in iBooks.

You need to enable flip so that you can type easily with both hands.
