  • Hi!

Polenar channel will be closing due to some copyright problems with music so i have made a new channel - PolenarTactical

Im regularly uploading even better video than before so if you liked what you have seen, please subscribe to PolenarTactical.

Also, can you please thumbs up this comment so everyone can see this.

    Thank you!

    Polenar

  • You ain't never gonna need these tactics because when your under fire most people panic and duck there heads and try not to get shot, unless you can control your emotions

  • @killahoe510xx Just grab some blanks and have some buddies shoot the piss out of you with paintballs. Then up the anty, go live but have them shoot you at an angle so you can shoot certain moving targets and fixed targets. Or go to a combat training facility and have them show you how it's done. All will help for learning to control emotions while in survival mode.

  • fucking slovenien....

  • At the begginingi sensed it.... Not this stupid music again.

  • Interesting. I would like to see more of your footwork. On the "drive by", did you have to remove your seat belt? I'd like to see you perform the same kind of scenario but driving instead of being the passenger.

  • Comment removed

  • Good video, as always like to see good trigger work and foot work.

  • Nice video.

  • You're in the BOPE right? ^^

  • Beautiful countryside, were is that?

  • @Morae88 Eastern Europe

  • @USMCforlandoftheFree

i do make room for an error but it looks like serbian army camo - modern version of older M93 made by MD corporation.

My gear is Dragon Tactical/Tactical One made by Mile Dragic and in that pattern. And it looks very similar.

  • epic mall ninja training

  • good job

  • Would full auto be an advantage? How big of an advantage would it be?

  • @Automobile577 every shot the barell goes up if you fire full auto fire in bursts

  • @Automobile577

    His weapons are semi-automatic only

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun I clearly see TWO fire modes on the side of that reciever.

  • Does anyone know where you can by the safety on his ak? I have a WASR 10 and have been trying to take it off safety, shoot, on safety. but its not going to happen. So if anyone knows where I could buy the safety he has reply to this message so i can look at it. thanks. By the way really really nice.

  • @KentuckySurvivalist is your safety just super stiff? I believe you can take it off and bend it outward just a bit to loosen it up.

  • Pretty darn cool, makes me wanna buy an ak!

  • @Polenar I notice your alittle slow on pulling out your sidearm. Why dont you use a tactical leg holster instead of the waist kind?

  • nice

  • Try to walk with toe to heel. This reduces the wobbling of rifle.

  • @Vectar84

    You mean heel to toe?

  • @Vectar84 Should never walk toe to heel in the military

  • @Vectar84 There is nothing wrong with his footwork on his combat glide. However, he should try to fire when both feet are on the ground. You will always have rifle sway when you're moving.

  • very nice. i would like to attend a drill class one day.

having 1 gun and using it to its full potential > having a dozen guns and not knowing how to use any of them efficiently

  • Why does this guy even need an AK with those two guns he has for arms?

  • Lookin good. I like training on reaction to a random "threat" (e.g. your friend's queue).

  • I want him on my team when the apocolypse comes o.o

  • is that stock comfortable ?

  • comfortable my ass!!! fixed wooden stock is much better and more comfortable.

  • @rokopaic i was wondering. thank you

  • Its not real training if you are not wearing camo/black.

  • impressive!!!

  • a šta će ti rukavice nesrićo jedna... za glumu, jel? posebno su pogodne za puniti streljivo u spremnik, hehe... a vidim i kako si profesionalno ubacio metak u cijev u pušku na početku videa... hahaha...

  • the west is actually bothering with your withdrawling of the pistol.better use a thigh holster.

  • Good stuff man, good stuff ;)

  • AK 47 >:/

  • i toght he was ganna take out a mini uzi when said drive by

  • this looks fun, i really want to learn this one day. cool vid.

  • Fantastic video. Very good work, you seem to be a very useful weapon operator.

  • Fantastic stuff. Do you mind if I use this video to help train an actor? His role will be playing a mercenary who had training in an Eastern-European setting. Even though you had trained yourself it looks top notch!

  • The camera mans so stupid never walk in front of some one shooting

  • Damn. For learning on your own, its top notch skill. Nice!

  • drive by schoting ? but he is not black??

  • @nooster125

nothin like some good ol' racism on the internet...

come on man, this is 2011, get over yourself and STFU

  • That was actually pretty awesome.

  • 2:16 Is that a Zastava M70?

  • what gloves do you use?

  • Great shooting. Are law abiding citizens in Slovenia allowed to own weapons? Or is it just the military/police?

  • @ 4:24 i was wondering how you were driving then i remembered that the drivers seat is on the opposite side in the UK lol, and amazing stuff mate, i have subscribed

  • Bolt hold-open on an AK? I'm guessing you're using Yugo mags.

  • nice

  • 2:49 he goes into second chance! good thing the camera man revived him

  • Polenar, this had better be your career, cause there's too much time and money invested to be your hobby.

  • wow, sweet skills, but i have a question about your zastava m70 it's a variant of the AK-47 and i have seen my share of AK-47 most AKM and soviet ones 1960 maybe ,my question is the recoil of your m70 is amazing and not the regular recoil of an AK so have you modd it.and if you have please tell.

  • when you did the switch to the secondary and did a jam check id suggest just swapping to your Beretta right away. checking that jam could use up valuable seconds in a combat situation.

  • wouldn't want to get caught robbing your house!

  • i like the changes of stance and position, it looks easy but somehow i don t think it is

how much time did it take you to mastre this?

  • kicking ass taking names your on my side when the world ends.

  • yugo mags are sweet

  • Great video. You know your stuff.

  • Awesome video

  • Good stuff. This is stuff we should be practicing regularly. Check out some of my shooting videos.

  • position at 0:49 leaves your femoral artery completely exposed. NEVER shoot from an uncovered position like that while receiving fire.

  • @only1option

totally agree with you, have seen my share of wounded this way and unlike Hollywood films where medic holds hemostasis for a whole day, if you don't have someone not just trained in surgery but someone who works with these type of trauma - its game over in 2 minutes at most if its a small wound, bigger wound - under a minute. A bullet wound that would be considered minor at any other part of your leg - is fatal at inner thigh. Take care - pozdrav.

  • Very good observation, I was thinking that it really didn't give much support or mobility but never thought about that.

  • @only1option If you're being shot at the last thing you need to worry about is your artery being exposed. It's a firearm....

Bullets do not care what is in the way, they will still rip up your arteries regardless of how you're positioned. It's a null point.

Being in a shootout is much more so about being the first guy with a bead on target. If someone is comfortable exposing arteries in order to obtain an ideal shooting position, then that is the best thing that person can do.

  • @corpralj3 Null point? LOL it's the only point! I'd rather get shot in the on the outside of my thigh and live then get shot in the inside of my thigh and die. Are you retarded? The first thing I was taught about the kneeling position is covering your femoral artery by angling your support leg in so you dont get shot in your femoral artery! Combat marksmanship 101 buddy!

  • @only1option And I would rather be the guy who could care less about how I'm positioned as long as I position myself in a manner that will get my bead on you first. Draw beads first in order to kill and suppress is more important.

Getting shot on the outside of your thigh by a high-powered rifle is not better than getting shot anywhere on your leg. Like I said the bullet does not show sympathy and will go through your thigh into your arteries regardless of what's infront of them.

  • @corpralj3 I've got friends that i've deployed with take grenades in the legs, shots in the sapi plates, legs and arms and were still in fight! Why?! because they werent shot in the fucking arteries dude! you can still manipulate the weapon even if shot by the all mighty ak round. You need to get your shit together and listen to people that have seen combat! colossus knows whats up in the comments on this post! you sound like a bitch! getting shot is not game over.

  • @only1option The fact that they happened to not be hit directly in the arteries, or that their arteries did not rupture under the concussive forces that the body is subjected to when being shot, is purely luck.

You will never be able to decide how you're hit, or what the bullet will do when it enters your body. It will do what it wants, and it doesn't care about how you are positioned.

I'm not saying positioning yourself one way is out-right useless, I'm saying it's very well near useless.

  • @only1option Secondly, grenades are absolutely different than a bullet entering your body. Grenades do not pack a punch anywhere near as close to a bullet in regards to concussive forces upon projectile impact.

Concussive forces from bullets are much more deadly than the bullet hole itself. That being said if the bullet ends up anywhere near an artery, that artery has a much, much higher chance of being ruptured by the concussive blast, than being severed by the bullet itself.

  • @corpralj3 So what you're saying is you should position yourself to protect the vital areas of the body, right? HOLY SHIT WASNT THAT MY ARGUMENT FROM THE BEGINNING?!?!?!??! god you're retarded.

  • @only1option No. I'm saying you should not go out of your way to position yourself to protect the vital areas of the body, if such positioning requires that you fire from an uncomfortable position, or a position that requires you spend more time obtaining a bead on the target.

Being behind cover is one thing. Trying to protect your body with your body is near useless, and is especially useless if it causes you to be the second guy with his bead on target.

Obtaining a bead is a larger priority.

  • Very nice. Would've been cool to see some reloads on your rifle, though.

  • Hey, Polenar. Whats the intro song called again? Btw great videos, man! Thanks in advance.

  • like the safety switch where can i get one for my romanian AK-47 GP-WASR 10 and my bulgarian AK-74

  • nice squad walk

  • Great video !!

  • what kind of vest is that?

  • Pretty good stuff for being rusty!!

  • @hellstorm702

    Thanks :)

  • very impressive did you master the drills on your own or did you take any courses either way very nice.

  • @erick019

    Thanks!

Actually im trying different things and learning on my own

  • @erick019 He must be a military guy

  • hey do they still make zastava m70

  • @sportsfreak730

i dont know but i think they stopped making them

  • @Polenar no,they didn`t. ;)

  • @Polenar we still make them :) but they will be phased out with our new M-21 which are replacing them steadily

  • @sportsfreak730 they still make the AKM in Egypt (The misr) and the Chinese Type 56

  • @sportsfreak730 Yes in Serbia :DDD

  • @sportsfreak730 we have new model

  • Very nice...

  • @LSDodgers

    thanks!

  • Hey man, nice shooting. I have a question for you, I couldn't help but notice that in one of your transition drills when your AK ran dry, your bolt locked back. Now I'm not very familiar with AKs but I was under the impression that the bolt stays forward when they run dry. Am I wrong, or do you have some kind of conversion kit?

  • @jamestomecek

    Thanks!

Im using a yugo AK - the M70 ab2 (underfolder) and im running the yugo magazines that have a bolt stop when empty

So when the rifle goes dry the mag stops the bolt in the rear position but when i remove the mag, the bolt returns into the front position

The yugo mags can also be bought in the US and they work with almost every AK rifle

  • @Polenar

Thanks man, thts watsup. I'll have to look into that.

  • Another great video, just checking out more of the vids on your channel. When I was a young enlisted man we all dropped to the prone firing position on open terrain after making an initial contact and identifying it's direction. As a Senior NCO now I enter the crouching posture, which is much easier for me to asses the situation and fire from.I will definitely take some of the advice here and employ it.5 star!

  • @fixdeluxe1

    Thanks!

I really appreciate such a positive comment from a Senior NCO.

No matter how much you know, you can always learn something new - thast my motto.

I will do my best to post more quality shooting videos

  • @Polenar Well,that's great.Keep up the awesome work.

  • without bullets ?? a kid can do thiss :-w

  • @Foxeran

    what? i dont understand...

  • @ polenar

don't mind about that fucker . .great shooting compadree ! . . excelent stand and ak control, i wish we could buy assault rifles here in argentina !! . . good luck pal ! and keep that ak burningg !! . . "infanteria tu gloria es mi vida"

  • @Polenar don't mind about that fucker . .great shooting compadree ! . . excelent stand and ak control, i wish we could buy assault rifles here in argentina !! . . good luck pal ! and keep that ak burningg !! . . "infanteria tu gloria es mi vida"

  • @1rendezvous1

thanks man! i really appreciate it!

  • I would have loved to see the accuracy of your shooting during these drills. At one point it looked as if the camera man was going to show the target after shooting, but he just teased me. :P

  • @renragged

my accuracy is always very good - when i was yunger i competed in precision shooting competitions

i always forget to include targets in my video but in this one you can see the hits at 1:51 (white spots on black center and a few black spots on the white)

  • 3:40 thats why you should keep your gun on leg holster... WALK PROUD !

  • @marcin801217

i use a blackhawk serpa level 2 holster with passive and active retention - i tried to pull the pistol to quickly and i did not disengage the lock - it wouldnt make any difference if i would kept my holster on my thigh

  • Grest shooting, but at 1:09, you shouldnt "bang, bang" then lower the weapon and put it on mechanical safe. You should shoot so many rounds, scan the area, then lower weapon. It may just be the drill, but thats what i say

  • Awesome video. one of my favorites now. however, why the M9? the only thing the 9mm round has over the .45 is speed an MAYBE a few extra rounds int eh clip. most police an military are now transitioning to the .40 instead of the 9.

    BTW nice AK. good handling

  • @RealisticSigma

    weapons are just tools

as a navy seal once replyed:

"When i put two rounds through your heart, and one through

your head, you won't know the difference, and neither will the enemy."

also i dont realy understand americans that prefer the .45 because its a bigger round and has more stopping power and the use the 5,56 in their rifles...

  • @Polenar because AMERICANS prefer the biffer diameter, slower more lethal on impact round of the .45 in our handguns.... an a lot of our soldiers like the 7.62x51mm. however, our government designes rounds that are intended to WOUND rather then kill so that they incapacitate more men that way.

I personally prefer teh 7.62x39 an .45 caliber rounds.....

  • Listen, I know this guy named Justin Beiber...

I have a bit of a grudge against him...

  • Good skill on the AK, love it.

  • Nice video... I'm looking for an M9 myself one of these days for carry, nice to see one in action again...

  • Pretty good drills. Nice footwork. Very smooth.

  • @THEBURNPILE

    Thanks!

  • doesnt look that rusty to me

  • im considering getting an ak, but is the accuracy really that bad compared to the ar15, or is that just horseshit?

  • @luzac159

Depends on the make, a Arsenal AK47 will do 2 moa at 100 yards but then you got to be aware of a thin barrel on that weapon.

  • @luzac159 its true an its horseshit at teh same time. within reasonable ranges, ie. 100 to 200 yards, its good. at 100 yards noone can complain. at 200 open sights are kinda pushin it an u need optical help. past 200 the AKs accuracy especially usin the short open sights of that gun is not good. However, with a good reflex sight or maybe an ACOG ur accuarcy should be fine within the 200 yard range. an since somewhere between 70 an 80% of all combat take places UNDER 150 yards the AK is excellent

  • @luzac159

accuracy is not that bad - its just not for the precision shooting competitions :)

it depend on what kind of ak you would buy - but most of the aks have the same negative side - the ergonomics are bad (slow magazine changes, heawy, clumsy, hard to modify with optics and accesories) in comparison with an M4 style weapon

if you dont care about those problems an AK is an excellent rifle and its very enjoyable to shoot

  • @Polenar .....I disagree with you on the negatives. Ergonomics are just fine, it is not heavy or clumbsy. If you want optics...use an Ultimak. Mag changes are a little slower than the AR...nothing major. Yes, they are fun to shoot.

As for the shooter in the video going to secondary. He needs to get that sling off of him and throw the gun overhead to get it out of the way. You can't run with a rifle banging you in the legs. Try practicing shooting when you are actually hauling ass.

  • Your forms in the beginning are awesome, love the transitioning. if i may though, when you are prone try shooting with your left elbow off of your knee. place your elbow on your knee like you had it just slide your elbow forward and put the soft part(triceps end) on your knee.

i could give more respect to the ak if more people like this guy wieldthem. but you mostly have skinny fake wigger white boys or taliban buying ak's to try and be cool.

  • @SpdDemon69

    thanks!

    thats a good advice

have you seen my latest video?

weapon is just a tool - if its working, its good for me

  • @Polenar yea the ak is cool and a great weapon. its service history backs it up. and i like how the comment above you point out ALOT of ak flaws, which is cool cuz usually people ignore the bad and only say the good.

  • Been watching your videos, you don't look amateur, some kind of special training? Ever considered a thigh holster for your side arm? Would like to see how you do, on tactical behind barriers windows door jams and vehicles passenger and driver. Other than that great video, saw some pointers I'll be using xD

  • @xGUNxBUNNYx

    thanks!

all the special training that i have is from myself

    im nov a shooting instructor

in my latest video you can see shooting behind barriers and i will also upload a video with proper room clearing and with vehicles soon

  • Where did you get that vest from? What is the model of it?

  • @kassem277

the bullet proof vest is made by point blank

its quite old so i dont know the model

i got it from a friend

  • What vest are you wearing in this?

  • @ShockAndOdd

its an old point blank bullet proof vest

  • u said u were a bit rusty i thought u did really well great shooting man

  • @LV8able

    Thanks!

  • Great fire control...!

    from : ~VAT 69~

  • Love the working of the safety in the up drills. Well done!!!

  • Very well done. It makes me want to get myself an AK. Subscribed...

  • @Kinley1978

    thanks!

  • Moze pitanje, jel ste smjeli prije drzati poluautomatsko naoruzanje(tipa M70ab2 na pojedinacno da je sredena), ili je taj zakon stigo, dok ste usli u EU.

  • @Merc963

    da

vstop v eu ni spremenil zakonov o orožju

  • very nice. definitly some improvement. do you have a new prone move?

  • @banzai2k8

    thanks!

    which move do you mean?

  • hey, I call the badass with the ak during the zombie apocalypse.

  • drive-by ahaha crknu bom od smeha dobri ste ni kej.... resno zelo dobri kapo dol... :)

  • @XplosionNo1

    hvala!

  • American will hate you for this.losers can't agree with russian best assalt rifle

  • @pustangu i think there is no "best", there is just the right "tool" for the right job.

  • Polenar=God Keep up the good vids man.

  • @2cutthroatterrorist

    thanks :)

    will do

  • Just awesome!

  • @FenixXeon

    thanks!

  • i'm totally impressed. excellent movement control, efficient moves, eyes always forward to threat, fast reloads. wish i had half the skills.

  • @sw8741

    thanks! i appreciate it!

  • Nice shooting! Cool range you have. makes me want to get out and shoot.

  • awesome use of that fire selection lever! one of the most difficult things about the AK platform.

  • @PRussell303

    thanks!

  • Hey man I'm enjoying watching your stuff. Just a little tip I was given a while ago by a really cool guy: treat every reload as a tactical reload. By that I mean to say instead of clearing your gun after a drill do a speed reload. It helps me get just that little bit of extra practice ya know? Like I said man- good drills.

  • @bsimpson505

    thanks!

    thats a good advice

  • do you like that ak even thought that it does not have a crom lind?

  • @bigusmcWW2

the yugo AK is excellent but the non chromed barrel is a bitch for cleaning

  • this was good

i like how you changed positions so smoothly like that

    something i need practice on.

try using a magpul sling when u switch to your secondary an release your primary it wont flop around as much
