  • wedshieb el tegrenya men eritrea men asel beja, lol keef la te3teref bel heboosh fe eritrea wa homa men aqreb el naas eleyek lao enta men a7ed al qabaa2el al beja.lol

  • I can feel u bro,Eri-lowlands and North est-Sudan are ethnically and culturally connected, and it could be as One Country,From Halab to Massawa and to west to Kassala. We can even add the Adabda and Bishari land of Egypt.

  • thats how it was 2500 years ago EK007,from halayeb all the way close to asseb were connected under close culture, add to that large areas of the eritrean highland where the habab, halenga and the belew lived.look at eritrean emblem the camel one purpose of that to reflect our past, the beja and the eritrean ppl are cousins if not brothers, ababda bishari and all the beja's are always welcome in their second home eritrea just like brothers they always shown their support for us in tough times.

  • you see beja people from sudan and egypt, as your brothers, although your tigrenya, but refuse to see any connections between tegaru people of eritrea and ethiopia? Kind of strange to me. Thats like me sayin Raya people are our kin but Afar are not connected to us Saho people. Foolish right.

  • Thats because you only see history as of 500 years not 5000 years...thats why its called biher tigrigna in eritrea not habesha, tigre and kebesa tigrina were the same ppl before tigrina was created around 700ad,and agazians who were the ancestors of todays kebesa and tigre people were a hamitic speaking group before they adopted the semitic tongue thousands of years ago...the tigrayans are agaw based ethnic group the tigrigna kebesa are not agaw based but a mixture of beja/agazians and afar/saho.

  • munster82 you are irob ethiopian..you see ill give you an example even though you speak the same language as saho YOU ARE NOT CONSIDERED SAHO BECAUSE YOUR BASE ORIGIN IS ALSO TIGRAYAN/AGAW who adopted the saho language 700 years ago...just like your grandkids speaking english and claiming they are pure anglo saxon....in eritrea if you ask a tigrigna person who are closer the beja/tigre or tigrayan he would say the tigrayan we share a language and the tigre we share blood and ancestory.

  • Sorry but your a dumbass for real. Many independent researches already proved the connection between tegaru in eri and ethio. So you cant pull the wool over my eyes dummy. But lets get back to the points you brought up. First of all 5000 years? 5000 years ago the Kingdom of Kush wasnt even established and since Afar, Saho,... Agew people have their roots there it is pretty illogical that the Agew people would have already existed then.

  • Next point Tegaru people deriving from Agew people. Now listen here little boy. Agew farmers were pushed from the highlands to the Tekeze River valley during the last millenium. So go figure son.

  • what about the mixing between the agew population and the so called invaders mostly al habeshat tribes men who inhabitant the ethiopian highland???look at amharaic its a perfect example a mixture of za-agwe agew language and agazians which you adopted from eritreans in 300ad as advised by the axumite king syrian missionary christian advisor now you go and figure out why he advised him to drop the semitic sabean language for the geez, before 300ad no geez artifacts is found in ethiopia why is dat?

  • what is tegaru?its an arabic word you idiot?what is the base ethnic group?are african american anglo saxons?no they are not your depth of comprehending what im talking about is lame...500 years ago there was no tigray..tigre is always been known since the name was labelled to a branch of the pre cananites who adopted the semitic tongue...agew people ethnically are even not to be considered to be cushtic anymore academics believe they are a nilo group who adopted the cushtic language thats...

  • ...why the amhara and groups like the dinka and nuer have shown to have 80% genetic similarities...look smartypants i know its hard for you to understand this but tigray is an arabic word given to the region todate by arabs in the 1500's and tigrayans or tagaro are mixtures of agaw and al-habshat semitic people thats a known fact..kebesa eritrean are called biher tigrigna tigre and tigray is completely 2 diffrent words..the agazians r kebesa, bani amer, halenga, habab, few saho subclans inc asawurta

  • .and few others.da agazians r a name given to themself which means "nomads" and if u read history probarly da agazians were considered to be the same kins as the beja and phonecians till dey ocupied babel in 1500bc and adopted their semitic lang. and leaving their own hamitic language, how could u play around with history to try to justify ur argument u look stupid and dumb, irob people like urself r considered tigrayan origin u r also agews since when r agew from north of da mereb historically.

  • @Munster82 Mr.Mun Raya people are originally Oromos who adopted Tigrinya language and culture, it's like Kamisee Oromos from Wollo who adopted many things from Amharas, and they are not present in Oromiya actually. The most of Amharas of showa, are Tulema-Oromos origines who lost their culture and language.

  • WadSheib after reading your comment, do u belive about Eritrea as country? Really surprising a comment for someone from Sheib.

  • What did he say?

  • tigre language is spoken in eritrea and east sudan that is why i told u it is eritrean and east sudanese song..

  • both it is eritrean and sudanese song

  • is this Eritrean or Sudanese song?

  • Eritrean song, dedicated to well known Idriss Wed Amir Eritrean poet. But he's also a star in eastern-sudan.

  • هذه هغنية راءعة والغنها هو رائع

  • استاذ يا محمد البدرى

  • good video

  • wa alaikum wa salam rahamtu'llah wa baraktu

  • Yasalam wad badri you make my day.Beautiful song and voice. Keep up we love you.

  • not one person has ever commented on what the singers are singin, lol. this is a love song you beautifuls,a really cute love song.

And EK none of them care. Tigre is spoken same evvery regions as it is and lived and LIves as it is.

  • Really it is ,,, fantastic songs of tigre of great singer Idres wad amir ... Regarding the tigre in Sahel of is having same culture as tigre of barka ... but there is little bit adiffernce in the style of dancingg between the habitants of Sahel ( HABAB ) and the barka ( beni amer)

  • anyways, thanks to eritrean gov't land policy, you are gurantee to find any eritrean tribe in any of eritrea's 6 provinces, in many cases you wouldn't even notice you are sitting next to someone from another tribe who has a different language or religion than you.but the most culturally, ethnically and religious diverse province of all is Gash barka, so if you happen to go to eritrea make sure you visit it. peace

  • the majority of people that live in sahel area are hedareb by the way not tigre. may be few tigre people live up there, but the majority live in Gashbark province. Belin live in anseba province while saho live in zoba debub area.Rashida live in massawa while some of them live at the sudan-eritrea border.tigrigna mostly live in central zone while afar live in southern redsea area.nara and kunama exclusively live in gash barka too.

  • Sorry to correct you dahlakisland but the majority people Sahel area are Tigre not Hadaareb. Go to check yourself to Af'abet, Nakfa, Alghena, But maybe Karora is Hadaareb.

  • GerrieLijam i just asked u that, just to know more about my country not only. It wasn't to offence anybody. Peace

  • Regardless of what part of eritrea TIGRE reside in, they have the same language and culture.the majority are muslims while few tigre people are christians. Beni-Amir is a word whatsome tigrigna speaking people use to describe a "muslim'perosn, because they simply can't differentiate the tribal name.its' just like how stupid amahara people would refer non-amhara person "tigre" or how tegaru refer to all eritrean as "hamassien".

  • Hello GerrieLijam, The Habab faction of Tigre tribe from Sahel and Senhit and Semahr belong to Beja tribe? what's a diffrence of Beni-Amir(Tigre) and the rest Tigre tribes of Sahel,Senhit,Semahr?? Thanks

  • Nice Tigre song about Idriss Wed Amir, Welet Keren Abay. Abshirrrr

  • Allahhhhhhhhhhh yassellammm wed amirrr alah yerhamu!

Saidoor thanks bro you bringing out lots of oldies Tigre songs for us. Appriciations goes All tha way !!!

  • Hello sweetsuker, The Habab faction of Tigre tribe from Sahel and Senhit and Semahr belong to Beja tribe? what's a diffrence Beni-Amir(Tigre) and the rest Tigre tribes of Sahel,Senhit,Semahr?? Thanks

  • Idris Wed Amir is a legendary Eritrean Tigre romantic poet and singer. Thanks for the one who posted this song as part of the Beja culture in both Eritrea and Sudan.

  • wether we are Areb, Tigrinya, Tigre this song made us one.

the beautiful songs of the Eritrean and Sudanese wedding song.

Peace to all my brothers and sisters of Eritrea & Sudan.

  • Thanks Dr Osheik for the video thanks a lot and keep it up! Nubiatech on his comment Tigrinja has nuthing with this to do bro This song is in Tigre or Tigrait so don't mix it with Tigrinja please! Thanks a lot again Dr

  • MajnoonKassala You maybe have something against Tigrinja, but you have to accept the fact that Tigrinja is closer language to Tigre or Tigrait than TeBedawiye or Arabic. Kassala is in every Eritrean heart.

Peace and love to Sudan(brotherly people and Eritrea,

  • EritreanKing007 I have nothing against Tigrinja I just wanted to clarify that Tigrinja and Tigre are NOT the same!I agree that Tigre and Tigre are close but what makes them close to each other is Geez, which derives from Sebaa language in Yemen, and both of them has lots of similarities with arabic

  • Sorry for the typo: Tigre and Tigre ==> Tigre and Tigrinja

  • tegrenya came from tegre i know alot of ppl dont know that but dats a fact tegrenya came from tegre.

  • All most all Eritreans know that bro! I myself said that several times. It is a fact...Tigre is the originator of Tigrigna. And Tigre itself is based on Geez. That is why there is a lot of similarity between Tigre and Tigrigna. Not only that both Tigre and Tigrigna tribes of Eritrea used to be one ethnic group at one time. So the similarity is not bound to the languages only.

  • Dear Dr Osheik Seidi(seidioor)

You are doing a great job by posting your videos of Beja and Eastern Sudan heritage.

Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.

  • I like this song, it is groovy and the performance is vibrant. Although I've been to Kassala every summer growing up, I don't understand a single word of either Tigrinja or Tebdawie ...

  • I love this song of Wed Amir even though those who are singing it are not fluent in their Tigre. Has anyone of you viewers have any other songs by wed Amir? I would to have it.
