It's one of the best Indie games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Thought one really must play through it a couple times to get the full experience. At least once on one's own and once with a guide to the desired ending. It's a wonderful experience.

There's actually a fairly simple way to deal with mister arrow trap if you haven't got anything to throw down to set him off. You just bring out a rope or bomb, but don't use it. Stand on the very edge of the platform so that mister spelunker guy does his little "keeping my balance" animation and he'll just drop what he's carrying and set off the trap. Then you can just jump down and pick up whatever you dropped.
Yay! A new video where I can enjoy raocow's commentary without watching the same damn character, with the same damn engine, and with the same damn enemies.
On the part where you said you had to take a hit by ether getting hit by an arrow or fall damage. You should have doped the bomb with the bomb doping trick setting off the arrow first. If you don't know the bomb dropping trick you take a bomb out get to the very edge where you are wobbling and it will drop your bomb without setting it off and you can then safely jump down pick up your bomb and switch to your whip.
Minecraft is awesome, but a lot of people do LPs of it already. Hell, I'm in the process of getting one moving properly myself. While I think Raocow could have some fun with it, I think it's a little too open-ended for Raocow's playstyle.
So, how are you going to handle shortcuts? Are you just going to get to a world once then start using the shortcut to get back there? Or are you going to start from the beginning each time to max out on potential items gotten?

its interesting between raocow and the other LP'r i watch who play spelunky. the other guy didnt really play many platformers so prefered to use the whip. raocow, being a platformer extraordinare, prefers to jump on things. too bad not all enemies are jump on-able
Raocow, you can flip-hang onto the arrow tiki things, and unless it's a rather narrow hole, the arrow will just fly through you, due to the dodgy hanging mechanics.

Not everyone had their time limit removed. Why? Because I don't. And I know at least one more person who didn't have his time limit removed. So there you have it.
@Azentiger yes, the time limit was indeed removed. unless you have a copyright strike, or its a bug. it was meant to be removed, but as always with youtube, it didn't work out 100%. so there, ya have it.
@HarmfulGravemind I don't know what the condition is, as there are people that HAVE gotten flagged for copyright, still have the strike against them, cannot have their videos unlisted, and also got their 15 minute limit lifted. Meanwhile, there are other people that have no strikes whatsoever, can unlist their videos, but are still bound by the 15 minute restriction. I believe I fall under the latter category, as I have not gotten a message stating otherwise.
@draglitch The limit was removed for everyone who made their accoutn in or before 2009, have at least ten videos, and hever got smacked with a copyright law thing.
Those who complain about State abuse need to try such things themselves. Also Raocow does it with reason, not just because he cant do it, he at least tries his ass off on such things and I respect that~
@KurtSurreal Minecraft is awesome, and I love it. I play it a lot. It is not good Let's Play material unless you set your own goals. Maybe when Notch creates Adventure Mode it could possibly be good as Let's Play material. But to Let's Play Minecraft is to pretty much make videos of it until you get bored of the game, since there's no ultimate goal.

People enjoy the game so much because there had been a lot of work put into it. What blows my mind is thinking of how much better it would become. @TheStickFiguer I really like Minecraft. I was given the alpha version from a friend. However, IMO, Minecraft isn't a good game to LP. It's like LPing WoW, IMO.

@HarmfulGravemind I don't know what the condition is, as there are people that HAVE gotten flagged for copyright, still have the strike against them, cannot have their videos unlisted, and also got their 15 minute limit lifted. Meanwhile, there are other people that have no strikes whatsoever, can unlist their videos, but are still bound by the 15 minute restriction. I believe I fall under the latter category, as I have not gotten a message stating otherwise.

@draglitch The limit was removed for everyone who made their accoutn in or before 2009, have at least ten videos, and hever got smacked with a copyright law thing.

Those who complain about State abuse need to try such things themselves. Also Raocow does it with reason, not just because he cant do it, he at least tries his ass off on such things and I respect that~

@KurtSurreal Minecraft is awesome, and I love it. I play it a lot. It is not good Let's Play material unless you set your own goals. Maybe when Notch creates Adventure Mode it could possibly be good as Let's Play material. But to Let's Play Minecraft is to pretty much make videos of it until you get bored of the game, since there's no ultimate goal.

Minecraft was better in the begining when they were only 100k people and stable servers (I mean in the creative mode)

I both agree and disagree.
In beta (Coming out on the 20th) there will be both a tutorial and a goal.
But making Raocow play it is not a good idea. when pretty much anyone else made an LP they bossed him around.
Although multiplayer is still full of griefers.

@TheStickFiguer No set goal? Duh, It's a sandbox game. I do agree minecraft Let's Plays are over done. But over glorified? I think you're thinking to much. People enjoy the game so much because there had been a lot of work put into it. What blows my mind is thinking of how much better it would become. I think minecraft Let's Plays are better with people that don't even know how to play the game. It's funny to see their reactions. Let Raocow decide what he wants to do.

@TheStickFiguer I really like Minecraft. I was given the alpha version from a friend. However, IMO, Minecraft isn't a good game to LP. It's like LPing WoW, IMO.

@TheStickFiguer i aggre with you, Minecraft doesnt seem a kind of game raocow would enjoy to play. Minecraft is more for a very casual gamer / creative art person and even thou raocow likes art it takes so much time and it so limited it wouldnt to be fun to watch and problably make. and it seems without a set goal raocow flails around hopelessly :P
