Yes its true , original songs are special and nothing compares to them. No-one should try to compare them. But the greatest tribute to a song is to sing it... I would have to disagree with you there. When I went to see the movie, the way that the songs were performed was amazing. I could feel everything that the characters were feeling as they sung the songs. There was just so much emotion, longing, desire, and heartbreak that could just be felt as you were listening to the music. I never got that sense of passion from the Beatles. I never felt anything while listening to their music.
