I have had them for about a month now. They work pretty well. I really enjoy them. the only complaint I have or question is how I can make my voice sound more clearer. People had said I sound like Gay Darth Vadars Wife or a Grandpa! So I just wanted to now how I can get my voice to sound more clearer and more like mine. Thnxxxx

I was actually listening to this video with the PS3 headset on...Its pretty cool. Playing skyrim and especially BF3 with this headset sounds so good. On BF3, the sound is very well done and sounds so real! this is a recommended by for those looking for headset without cords to mess with. Setup is easy; all you do is charge the headset, plug in the usb adapter, and turn it on

since the newest firmware update (?3.10? i mean...) i can hear myself even when the mic is muted..... i post it on playstation forum and they know about the problem and they are already working on a fix in the firmware of your ps3, BTW nice headset and i can hear nothing from my parents anymore xd

@Pownu21 buy a new ps3, your problem is that you ps3 does not support this firmware of the deliverd usb-stick from the headset. you can try it on official playstation forum our go back to the store where you bought the headset and ask ;)

@ohsomeant You can charge and play, BUT plug them into your PS3 not e.g. an i(phone/pad/pod) socket charger because it can ruin the battery because of too much power. 2. I am not that sure about the headphones workng w/ pc, check out other review vids, they might be of use to you.

I'm glad I bought this headset. I already thought it was great as a gaming headset, but there's 2 things that make me absolutely love it. First, it's literally just a plug and play device. I decided to test its functionality on the PC in the middle of a Skype call and haven't used any of my other headsets since. This is due to the second reason, the fact that I don't have another wireless one. It's incredibly convenient to be able to walk around and not worry about any cables getting pulled.

@Beyonder313 Maybe changing the channel settings on your wireless router if you can. Of course using a wired connection is best. There are dual channel routers if you want to spend some money on a new one.

I used this for my PC also. People say the surround doesn't work when on PC, WRONG!!! My PC supports virtual 5.1 and it channeled through the speakers amazingley. :D (I have a VAIO F series, the latest one)

On PS3, GT5 sounds amazing hearing the rain around you and the blast of wind when you break the draft is amazing. Karting was also intense when u hear the other 15 go karts circling around you, the AI aggressiveness was set to max so they were mean bunch.

I have yet to test out BF3!

i agree that the mic is kinda flimzy tho and it is pretty plasticky.. but next to the ps3 they are identical twins. The mic quality is better than the 2.0 earpieces anyway.

@peyeyomen200 It's a virtual 7.1surround anyway. When you push the top button, so it's automatic no need to change settings manually on your ps3. The default stereo config gives the headset slightly better base, but I personally go with the 7.1 feature, for obvious surround reasons and the audio quality is still very good, not even noticeable to most people unless you're really in to audio. But I love these headphones. Amazing for the price, and very comfy.

to let every1 know do not buy a turtle beach headset im not overreacting when i say i have gone through 3 turtle beach headsets all with the same kinda fault which is one or both of the head peaces stopped working or made a horrible crackling noise and then stopped working and this happened to all of them within 6-8 months ive now ordered this and i cant wait to try it the good thing is because this is a playstation official it should be more reliable

@JohnnyRocketPants1 the problem is not the controller; what is making it lag is that it's interfiering with the router and it's making it lag; the solution is to move your router or ps3 a little more far away from each other. HOPE IT HELPS :)

@JohnnyRocketPants1 Sony controllers use bluetooth, the headset used wireless signal. If your controller is lagging, it is probably because your ps3 is hidden or there is some drastic amount of bluetooth devices in your house.
