the structuring of this song is awesome, it doesn't sound like most electronic music but it reminds me exactly of technical death metal. Just the way how it's constantly changing, and sometimes the changes are real abrupt. And just the fast technical drums with the slower lead creating catchy melodies that loop for the smallest bit then shift / form into new melodies.

This is one of the best songs ever imo, really. I like it for the pure groove and bass solo in the middle. the prelude to the 2 min groove just kills. And then 2:33. Shake on!! the unmistakeble oddnes at 4:02, and again at 5:14 and the magic between. Its just boring afterwards imho.

Richard may be using any number of analog synths to create the several layers of bass. It's important to remember that the effects matter too. I would guess that everything is CV/Gated to MIDI and controlled by Logic. The sequences are too complex for an pre-digital sequencer. [It reminds me a lot of Plaid too.]
