I bought this game a couple of days ago. it comes in a large box.. has one DDR Pad, and the game to play it. You have to buy more Pads separately. I think they are fairly cheap though.

How do you turn the marvelous rating on?

On the main screen when you first start it up, go to the options screen there. It's in "Game Options" under "Marvelous Rating" =)

Hmm...just work your way up. Start on Basic, and make sure you can master (get full combo on) all of those, then master Super Samurai. For me, Super Samurai was really the turning point where I started to get good with DDR. After that, just ease your way into difficult, doing the easier songs before the harder ones. Make sure you MASTER each one before you move on.

By the way, I'm really bad in this video, and I'll be posting another one shortly of my current level of mastery :).

I still can't get a AA...sometimes I can get a full combo on songs, but not enough perfects to get a AA. o_o I really hate that. DX

Put the Marvelous rating on. It makes it easier to AA and AAA songs :).

I have been searching FOREVER for your video to post this response..... cool! i got this game for christmas, and i can't stop playing it. I can do pretty much all the levels on difficult. (cept super samari) You're good though. Although you don't look very excited about playing the game.. This is a really fun game, and your good at it. So keep going and you'll be an expert! (that's my goal, im only 12 though.....:))

True, they aren't nearly as hard as the gimmicks or the hand markers. I made this video back when I wasn't too confident with freeze arrows - now I can do them no sweat!
