its like my '09 nightster, stage 1 with vance and hines short shots. I only had a few months to ride it before heading to Iraq for the 3rd time, can't wait to get home and rack up the miles. I've got mini apes and forward controls. the sound of that exhaust is the coolest part
@loganwgriffith I've got a 09 nightster with V&H sideshots, forward controls, and drag bars. I'm finishing up my second tour here and can't wait to get back. How high are your apes? I'm thinking about getting like 8in Z-bars. Nothing crazy.
Am I the only person who gets on the bike before starting it? Even when I had a bike that I had to let "warm up" I still got on it to start it, then put it back on its kick stand. I guess it comes from the old days of having to finesse the choke and I always clutch in (even in neutral). oh... nice bike :) reminds me of my old sportster.
You are right about the forward controls. I don't mind the Nightster being a shorter bike then others, especially if you ride alone, but the forward controls are a must in my opinion.
Thanks a lot for posting. Definitely LOOKS and SOUNDS great. I have a question about the Heavy Breather. The lighting in the video may cause me to be mistaking, but it seems that the elbow is black, and the back plate is chromed. Is that so? If so, did you have it painted? On the Harley Davidson web site, I only saw two different ones, either all black or all chromed. Can you help me here? Thanks again. And once more, LOOKS and SOUNDS great.
Nice sound. I've been wanting one of these since I saw a little pamphlet in the dealership.
