Splendid would be an understatement! So clean, organised and such a far cry from today. For all the hearsay of the older generation who lament about what it was, one now appreciates what they meant by what has been lost -- a gentle, civilised way of life. This is visual proof positive for anyone today of that era.
P.S. And, note, the Arabian Sea was actually blue and clean to gaze at! Good grief! Have we lost that and so much more or what ...

This film must of been made just befor the British Empire left? as india was not a tourist destination after partition/war with pakistan.
India was in better shape under the British Empire, just like most of the rest of the world.
