  • she tries to smile so smile.otherwise she will be killed..north korea kids face on the tv is like lifeness doll. my heart hurts.. sorry for my english

  • Nice to see kids following their dreams in light of being happy, and women being taught to follow their dreams in light of being happy, in contrast to making money, like we are taught in the west. DPRK Power!

  • Девочка молодец.

  • her performen is breathtaking

  • Ok your an asshole on that description you fucking moronic bitch

  • i wonder who the north korean kids will sing about now, since kim jong-il is dead

  • @snizzlefrazzy the song is about a father I guess

  • фанера

  • Her constrained smile is pitiful.

  • Ss501JMG that's kool u get 2 start that early I always wnted 2 start @ the same age but I'm not asain n I wnt 2 b very good at violin but I can't play anymore b cuz I hav bad grades n I only played 4 2 yrs mi teachers always say I'm super good @ violin but now it's been a yr since I play...but u,I feel bad wat they did 2 u :)

  • She is a lucky one that her parents lived through the great Famine of the 90's.

  • 表情好詭異-.-

    這首歌叫什麼啊?

  • @Ss501JMG The difference is, they HAVE to do this. And do it fucking perfect. Or they dont eat, and they could die. Anyone faced with that will do the best fucking job they can. Kids in america can just be kids. and even then they cant in some areas. Go to the ghetto and ask an 8 year old his every day life. By that time they already start putting in work for gangs. I bet you never had to sell crack when you were 12 to feed your family.

  • @Ss501JMG

Talent is good, compulsion is a different matter

  • soooooooooooo cute and talented she sounds like a grownup

  • Not in a mean way

  • -_- @ tatidel87 I agree but were all human either adapt or adopt

  • cute

  • @Ss501JMG better to be forced to be mediocre than have your entire family forced to a concentration camp because you listened to the wrong radio station : /

  • @fatallyyrs27 how do u know that? did u go there on a summer vacation to know that??? i bet u all u know is the propaganda that shows ur country. At least they r not corrupted by drugs, sex etc.

  • @tatidel87 maybe you should do a little research yourself, before making an ignorant comment about my country. i think it's something like 70% of the north korean economy depends on the production of these concentration camps. it's north korean tradition that if someone commits a crime against "dear leader", 3 generations of their family are forced to go to the camps. the majority of what we know comes from refugees who have actually managed to escape from the country. you need an education.

  • @fatallyyrs27 I watched the same documentary that u did, that doesnt give you the right to talk about it like you are an expert on matter. What was so ignorat about my comment? i asked u if u have been there before, have u? probably not.

  • @fatallyyrs27 you are callin me ignorant for makin a comment about your country, well you are ignorant too for makin comments about a country that you dont even live in.

  • @tatidel87 you're not too bright, are you? it's common knowledge how the north koreans are treated. since when is caring about your fellow human ignorant? like i said earlier, you need an education.

  • @fatallyyrs27 Just because im not agreeing with you makes me less educated, Of course i have an educastion thats why i have my own opinion and point of view. Obviously you are the one that needs an education for not letting others express themselves, whatever, typical person that always wants to be right, Im not gonna even waste my time with losers like you, keep watchin your documentaries and believe everything you see on tv (yeah, u r really bright).

  • @tatidel87 your opinion and point of view doesn't change the world, or what's happening in korea. you really are a moron if you think its all gingerbread and lollipops over there... and little girls singing. you don't have to watch a documentary to see that. good don't waste your time, god knows you got so much more important things to do... like sticking your head in the sand and pretending the world is full of good people :)

  • @fatallyyrs27 this has nothin to do about with lollipops, saving the world etc, what im tryin to let you understand is that you cant create your opinion based on what you see in the media, you have to live its reality first. By the way, stop insulting me because im not doin it to you.

  • I'm a musician and I started young. I thank my parents that they started me out at a young age. I had fun with my peers and I am presently earning a living at what I do. Congratulations to these kids.

  • @Ss501JMG talented kids dont happy usually. Caucasian likes their kids be happy and natural, not be a talented machine

  • @Ss501JMG Caucasians kids actually aren't forced to do anything! Can't even do chores!!!!!!!!!!! But I guess with further thought, you are right. The schools do force mediocraty on the kids. I have noticed that the worst comments come from the least knowledgeable and talented here.

  • she did't deserve to live in that horrible country

  • don't know why but she reminds me of Betty Boop:D

  • 目が逝ってます……

  • Wonderful facial expressions and a sweet innocent voice.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Shit son. . .

  • jesus i´m death now! x_X

  • shes just copying the sounds that her cat made in the blender....

  • does anyone know the name of song? ...i really like it... :)

  • this comments it's getting stuped than the other one

  • this one look finally happy :)

  • Horribly lip synched. Didnt the chinese did the same at the Olympics opening ceremony?

  • @jorgemt62 no they were teached to move there lips that way (cause of there teeth which are not all grown) and it might be the video quality as well.

  • Very obviously lip synched.

    Next.....

  • Practice + Capacity = Talent. Meaning, no matter how you practice, you can never end up with talent if there is no capacity. Meaning, there is no such thing a forced talent. So you understand better, here's an analogy. Oxygen + heat = fire. You can have all the air in the world but without the right amount of heat, you can never produce fire. Ooops...this analogy may be beyond your mental capacity...

  • Her crescendo and decrescendo starting at 1:45, though borderline screaming, was quite good for someone her age. It gave me goose pimples. A lot of older singers that I've come across still struggle with that.

  • you guys i dont think shes brian washed i think shes just trying to be herself...well her teachers slef -.-

    AND SHES CUTE

  • you guys i dont think shes brian washed i think shes just trying to be herself...well her teachers slef -.-

  • the best way to showcase the talents in north korea. they have to open up also in the other fields. thanks to you tube they're being exposed to the world.

  • Great !!! Hello for North Korea from Serbia !!!

  • This is so exploitative.

  • For fuck's sake. You can see the brain washing in her face expression.

  • @herrengedeck is it wrong to smile while she performs?

  • @icantsoishant111 Natural smile would be fine. But not that imposed one.

  • Perfect lipsyncing.

  • Comment removed

  • Великолепное, непревзойденное исполнение! Magical, beautiful performance!

  • Lovely voice! This girl is so cute! :D

  • SIMPLY LOVELY!! Wish her well and may she grow up giving her Creator Jesus Christ glory for her blessings dispite living in a communist country.

  • 还是这些孩子可怜啊

  • aww so adorable

  • Starvation camps are American lie. Cant you get it. North Korean people is happy!

  • @3SRBIJACCCC

How did you come to this knowledge?

  • @WSWarthog What knowledge?

  • you know what's really pitiful? daft, fat american kids munchin on junk food and watching cartoons on a telly for 12-14 hours a day.

and retarded grown-ups who comment on this vid.

believe it or not, but commies are just better people, even though lead by old fools

I vas born in USSR and we had normal life, without crime, or fear for the future.

we beet told that all the people in the world are brothers and sisters, and money is rubbish!

  • @NamyNoway

"we had normal life, without crime, or fear for the future"

As long as the police didn't see you stand too close to each other on the bus ;]

  • 엄청 웃어야 하네요 -_- 너무 억지다 보니까 측은

  • this is stupid. i like SNSD better.

  • I really hate her voice!

  • what a pretty little song

  • What language is she singing? Chinese or Korean? (Sorry, Im a bit familiar with Korean, but it sounds a lot like Chinese...)

  • @hanmer91 : The language ?... oh... let me think !!!.... I actually think between South Korea and China, which is North Korea language !!!....LOL :)

  • So lovely when singing, and in the middle of the song : theses steps: so adorable, she is adorable :) :)

  • @MountAthos are you sure about that? did you see it yourself? or is it just an image created by those who are against them?

I think your comment shows ignorance and racism, as no child can achieve this level of excellence by beating the kid whether it's singing, dancing, gymnastics, playing piano or any other instrument , and less getting them to smile that way while performing !.. you must be blind to not see that !....

  • lol..............................

  • Very cute :) Great show :) :)

  • Look! It's the Korean version of Dainty Baby June!

  • So cute!

  • love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • her voice is soo anoying. its like when you run over a squirel and the last sound it makes

  • What a nice little girl. Great show !

  • she must have got in a bar fight before the show

  • Bitch should be making me panda not singing, god damn.

  • what's she saying?

  • 冥土でシコシコ 0:32

  • 口パク??

  • I have watched this video about 20 times in the past week and I can't get over how amazing it is. I have also been watching a lot of documentaries on North Korea and I am just torn, how can something this wonderful come from such a horrible country? I hope one day things with North Korea can work out, I am sure the rest of the people of this country are just as amazing.

  • @Cokierae1 "how can something this wonderful come from such a horrible country?" Why don't you ask yourself is this country realy horrible, or maybe the media and the western governments try to manipulate with their propaganda our view and our opinion..Heh? what do you think?

  • Comment removed

  • @TermaOsEdo I know you're referring to the "western governments" being the United States. But seeing how Americans are rarely allowed in these countries, most of the documentaries I have watched are from other countries. INCLUDING countries such as S Korea and Japan.

    That's what I think.

  • @Cokierae1 The media of all countries that are USA allies, NATO members, or even states that are USA antagonists, at this very moment are in the same team with USA. They are lying and try to discredit socialism steping on true problems many of which are inflicted by the embargo and the terror, the threats, the provocations etc

  • @TermaOsEdo Fair enough. I would like one day to go to N Korea if I ever possibly could. I'll make my own opinions then.

  • @TermaOsEdo

So you mean that everything about north korea is a lie, if it comes from someone that's a member of nato? I'm not sure if I understand you correctly..

So is what people say about nuclear weapons, the lack of free speech, the dictatorship and how they worship Kim II Sung and Kim Jong-Il all a lie? Just because people don't dare to go against the us? And how can you know that it's a lie? Have you been there?

  • Amazing. But... the sound is slided respect the video...

  • Don't you be so stupid and nasty (unless of course you're South Koreans). They are only kids. Stop judging them like adults! The kids are no doubt very talented.

  • ↓実況すんなや

  • 0:31 シコシコ

  • she looks like shes 5 but no younger than 10 years

  • 이런아이들은 나중에 기쁨조가 될까요?

  • @hereorange 네

  • the lyrics commend the great comrade our father Kim jong il.

  • She is utterly adorable, but it is kind of freaky to watch this. Kids at that age doesn't move that smoothly and elegant - they're rather clumsy and edgy with their movements! These korean kids looks like small adults at stage, and that is quite sad. They should look like kids.

  • @Naiis92

I live in east Asia and it is normal for little kids to be graceful. It isn't unusual for a three year old to dance well. Little kid awkwardness is a Caucasian thing.

  • @Frisbieinstein

No, kids awkwardness is not a caucasian thing, it's a human thing.

Search for 保良局幼稚園東涌 dancing show pt 4 , in the searching box, and pick the first clip (appearantly I can't post links) - there you see _asian kids_ being clumsy, and you can get any kid to be as graceful as this little singing girl, no matter which race. The question is if it's ok to push someone that young to things like this.

  • @Frisbieinstein

i love little kid awkwardness. it's cute.

  • @Frisbieinstein caucasian thing!!! could you teach your own child in 5 months ? it take 3 to 4 years its depends any they are forced !!!!!

  • @idate629 Sure buddy, whatever you say.

  • love these shows!!!

  • their culture is creepy

  • just like a chipmunk on meth

  • You know what, she's cute and sings well for her age. So just take it for what it is, a cute girl singing a Korean song.

  • こっこわい!!!!

  • You'd think she were older if her hands weren't so tiny

  • ***** Very Beautiful *****

  • What's the story behind all these kids??? Do they have some great national conservatory that the talented kids of north Korea go to???

Because, seriously, all these kids are talented!!!

And I don't understand this MountAthos person, they have been misled, maybe by Fox News??? I don't know :)

  • @jazzpsalti there have been many documentaries about the sort of discipline, brutal teaching, and inhumane treatment in North Korea. The reason why North Korea has so many "talented children" and such a "united nation that all work together to form pretty pictures and entertaining images".... is solely because of the intense discipline they receive. in most cases, the situation just comes down to, "perform with no mistakes or you die".

  • @jazzpsalti they're forced to be talented

  • @alswn1860 You mean just like Michael JackASS and Lady GagASSHOLE? Well, at least they're REALLY talented, forced or not, instead of just being mythical "products" of a shred bloodsucking marketing driving FORCE.

  • @alswn1860 they enjoy just~not really forced

  • @cicitony they are forced you know nothing about them

  • @idate629 yep~~~let me ask u~r u from north korea~or any yourfriends from there???

how u so convince that u r right??well i do have friend who used to live north korea~he told me a lot there

  • @cicitony did he experience living in hell hole ? and tell me how did he escape

  • @idate629 u know nothing about em...thats it dude...

u sure u dont have Obsessive compulsive disorder?lolx

  • @cicitony odd your just waiting my time :D

  • @idate629 -_- you dont have friends in northkorea ohhh well that was a waste by the way reply me again your a idiot :D

  • that is so cute

  • don't you see tears ?

    i can see

  • k why do they always sing about that general guy? like what did he do besides screw their lives over.

  • It would bw wonderful is someone could tell us what she is singing about.

  • I'm not quite gifted in poetry or lyric-writing so I'll just translate the song by meaning.

    She's singing to a bird:

    1st verse

Little bird who came in through the kindergarten school window,

did you come here to hear my song?

As we wait for the Father, General,

the song we sing for him,

    you should sing it too.

  • 2nd verse

Little bird who came in through the kindergarten school window,

did you come here to hear my song?

As we wait for the Father, General,

the sounds of silver bells and golden bells,

    you are sure to envy.

I'm still trying to figure out what she's saying in the 3rd verse. (It is rather hard through that accent...)

  • @littleHyades Thanks for replying. Now that you've told us, it's even more sad and creepy.

  • so cute, so perky, but the music is a bit chinky!

  • Comment removed

  • @fruitygumball You are an ass

  • you parents do that huh? since you know it so well. where are you hiding now?

  • america

  • 불쌍한 것들~

  • @aboutkorea 왜 가난한 것 ???....

  • @bjoartec Google translate :) I said "pitiful babies"

  • @aboutkorea Thanks for replying, but I still don't know why "pitiful babies", check my channel and you'll see more babies singing from Brazil, are they "pitiful babies" ??...check theses "Milena, Sabrina Bruna, Maisa Silva" are they poor babies ??...,

  • @bjoartec

Okay, when aboutkorea said "Pitiful babies", this actually means "Wow... this is really sad to watch.." because she was probably endured forced hardships to perform as such. To rub more insult to her life, she is forced to smile (as you can see - it is a forced smile).

  • @ehnogi : You are wrong, and you are blind, stupid, racist, ignorant .......

  • @ehnogi : No one can force a child to smile or/and teach anything by force !....., and check earlier comments, you may learn something !.....

  • @aboutkorea

    I know right...

  • i like her teeth and her smile

  • she is so cute!!

  • How many people in the workers' paradise of the DPRK were actually able to see this on their non-existent TVs? What about 4 or 5?

  • It is incredible what great skill a child can sing and dance, when threatened with a vicious beating without mercy.

This is sort of a microcosm of North Korea, where everyone must do endure forced labor without complaint, or be sent to death camps where they are starved and tortured until they die.

  • Creepy! She's singing like a 50 year old

  • Spoken like a true brainwashed American. Hey, do you want to do us all a favor? Stop your own country's IMPERIALIST violence and terrorism against the rest of the world, if you have the balls and brains to do it.

The United States is the most imperialist, aggressive and violent country on Earth right now, so just STFU and do something about that.

  • Comment removed

  • Woah calm down, don't critisize the u.s. or any other country it makes your self look bad.

  • @MountAthos oh yeah you know a lot about Korea dont you

  • @MountAthos Athos Did god tell you that? Everyone talks about North Korea like if he has been there.. ts ts ts

  • @MountAthos are you sure about that? did you see it yourself? or is it just an image created by those who are against them?

  • @MountAthos Hard to say if this is really the case as we can only barely speculate. That girl is so adorable with her dancing, pure voice, and what really is a cheerful demeanour. I can't imagine a little girl looking so very cheerful and pretty with the weight of physical, emotional or verbal abuse on her shoulders. Perhaps they reserve their abuse for the one's who are less talented.
