Definitely kudos for doing something with your time while you were bored. I'm inclined to say that some of the text seems a bit out, and the timing could've been better - and some of the effects do spoil it a bit.. But overall, I don't know why, but there's something I really like about this.

I might take a stab at this song sometime - I need to get back into work.
