  • It's from the episode "Tall on The Wave" aired March 2, 1978.

  • Is from Season 10. No doubt

  • What's on tonight at 8?

  • 1978 this had to be season 11

  • When I was a kid I wanted to be one of those guys in the canoe because I figured I'd be good at it. I've never been pretty but I've always had raw power in spades. I was just born on the wrong side of the planet to use it style. Dammit!

  • Nice Viacom V Of Steel at 0:44.

  • KCOP 13 i recognized the voice over and the fgs insurance ad right before the closing sequence musta been in the late 80s

  • About that time. Viacom had released the "lost episodes" . These were the later and other episodes that were not part of the original syndication package.

  • @frankd1965 awsome i love all the nostalgia here on youtube

  • same here. just like stepping into Mr. Peabody's Wayback machine.

  • @frankd1965

Ha! Loved the reference to Mr Peabody & his Wayback machine. Let's not forget about "his boy" Sherman! What fond memories.....

  • The jingle for the Viacom sivler V sounds different at the end. It sounds like the warp speed on at the. I heard it when it was at the end of "The Cosby Show". I saw one of the warp speed one that had the same whisper at the end as a video file. What year did this come out. I remember this show from the 70's. I did not see it was in syndicatoin until 1988 on WGBO Tv in Joliet Chicago and now on Me TV in Chicago.

  • Doesn't really sound all that different...

  • It sounds like the regular one to me also.

  • Sorry, I must have goofed. I listened to it again and it is the regular one. It must have been static as the quality is probably not that good.

  • You mean the "V of Steel"?

I remember seeing the closing to that show on WWOR-TV back around 1988 or 1989 or so where it does have the "V of Doom" in warp speed.

  • Sorry,

    That was a typo.

  • This is from Season 10, b/c they didn't shorten the closing theme (again) until S11, which in itself had a disco-flavored variation of the theme song.
