can anyone get this working on Windows 7? I've heard some say Dosbox but I've tryed and sence i own the Collectors CD i heard that doesn't work with Dos. i've tryed a supposedly modified version but it didn't do a damn thing. i always get a error on the start up trying to install.

theres a big flop with this intro: Since when coruscant is blue??? Also the planet where the station is being attacked looks like the same as "blue" coruscant, which indicate that the devs where quite lazy, and used the same model for the entire intro.

At least, the original intro showed coruscant structures from orbit, and featured different planets, not to speak better explosions.

@Vyylandra Or maybe it was made in 1994, and this was the first time you ever actually saw coruscant. This was probably based on the coruscant of the zahn novels, which don't give a clear impression of what it looked like but seem to have visible landmasses, mountains and oceans. the planet wide city coruscant, based on the original concepts of alderaan/had abbadon didn't appear until the special editions in 97.

@sumbuddyx the whole planet wide city version of coruscant that you see in the prequels was first shown in the dark empire comics. george lucas conciders them the true 'sequel trilogy' to the original star wars movies 'the scene of anakin crash landing grevious' ship on coruscant was actually done first by luke with an imperial ship in the dark empire comics if i remember right'. i've never read the whole thing so i need to eventually track the paperbacks down one day.

Finally the damn rebel insurgency will be put down. Rebels are a bunch of terrorists who have no respect for law. They destroyed Alderaan in an effort to frame the empire... Alderaan by the way wasn't a peaceful planet it was heavily armed, which is typical, Rebels always hide behind human shields like the scum they are. Ontop of that Princess Leia was not on a diplomatic mission at the start of a new hope she was smuggling stolen classified information, she's a criminal plain and simple.

there´s another issue with this intro: Coruscant isnt a blue planet, but a city planet. The first intro clearly showed artificial features construtions viewed from space.

@Azorean2100 This has probably been said about a million time, but Thrawn's uniform is wrong. He was vice-admiral at the time, yet in intro he has his white uniform on, which only grand admirals have right to use. I've heard there is red version of grand admirals uniform, which was used by Ysanne Isard, but i've never seen it on anyone else.

We need a new X-Wing game, for consoles and PC. Especially PS3! And with multiplayer and single player mode! It's just really, really needed. And bring back the Dark Forces series too!!! You're right. The music in this video runs a lot faster than the visuals. The Imperial March theme at 3:12 should underscore the Tie Fighter title screen at 4:05.

Such a great game. There is a mod out there for X-wing Alliance that transfers all the missions from Tie Fighter to X-wing alliance, really breathes some fresh air into the game. Called Tie Fighter Total Conversion.
