I love how rude & impolite Ben can be to strangers.

He's not sentimental in the slightest, he just doesn't care.

The episode where he takes his redundancy from his job, & he looks at his scraper and says "my very first scraper" & he looks sad for a second & then he just throws it in the bin. XD

Yeah Nick is so funny, his loud/bubbely stupid personnalite was hilarious.

Nick and Ben were a match made in heaven. XD

But i love all the characters, apart from Alfie & Susans mum.

Each of their own different personnalite's combine to make it so funny.

Although i have really enjoyed Series 10 so far, it's funny like it used to be.

I loved the last episode, Roger going crazy & smashes everything that Abi as ever touched or used in the Harper house XD.

If we get Nick back, alongside Ben, Michael, Roger, Susan and Janey that would be paradise.

All the other original Characters are still great , and it's all the characters personalities mixed together that make it so funny.

I loved this show up untill 2004/05. The new ones are still funny at times, but the old ones were brilliant.

But i am glad now Alfie is not in it anymore. :)

I never got used to him, i just didn't find him funny at all.

Nick was, loud/ bubbley/ crazy/ not right in the head [Stunt driving a Herse!!], haha he was so funny & he really drove Ben mental. XD

Alfie was slow/dull & boring... i know that was his caracter but he was rubbish!

He was not even part of the family!

I didnt really understand why they made Michael gay-I thought they kinda ran outta ideas. Its still a good watch though. I think the best episode I' can remember was A Wife Less Ordinary when Janey goes mental and has an imaginary husband. When they brought new characters in before like Abby in and Roger i loved them after a couple of episodes watching them. They had good funny storylines. Abby is a bit like a girl version of Nick & Roger his really funny you can't help but feel a sofspot for him and his character really fires Ben up which is class to watch. I've not watched Series 9, end of 6 and 7 as really put me off.

The art of being Susan last episode in series 6 was the worst, Her mum pretending to be a teenager was stupid.

I think this show as really gone down hill. I thought season 1-5 were good. Then 6 was where it started going bad not just cos Nick left, In the last episode Ben's not EVEN IN IT?. Other than Nick i think he his the funniest character really good actor.

New characters are horrible, Don't like Susans mum(Be ok if she was in 1 episode a series but not all the time)

Love My Family, Really funny i was not keen on series 7 and 8 though thought there was some crap episodes in there.

Loved every episode from series 1-5 , series 6 was good, But 7 and 8 i thought the storylines were boring and stupid other than funny. But series 9 was alot better reminded me of the older series which were class.

Im still not keen on Alfie, i know he obviously came in to replace Nick's character but i just don't think he his funny. He's not even family, just Nicks old friend.

I like My Family and it does make me laugh, but it's so predictable and average. Even the stars are unhappy with the writing.

Robert Lindsay said that he and Zoe Wanamaker are quite unhappy with the writing quality and will film another 16 episodes- that's it.

Your wrong, series 10 & 11 have been confirmed but nothing has been said about series 12, it may brodcast and may not. I depends on the success of the previous series. And it was due in the airing of series 6 or 7 that the actors compained, they improved it in the past year or so. Although, personally - i still love it.... so much and i'm a loyal fan. I think Nick may return in series 11, but that's me just hoping. Alfie leaves this christmas, but i think they will replace him, maybe with Nick.

For your information, the cast did complain about the writing quality for series 9 as well. But if people enjoy it that much, I suppose they should keep making it, although Robert Lindsay has stated that he and Zoe Wanamaker will only do 16 more episodes.

my family was fantastic when it began the early series esspecially the ones with Nick were great, very stereotypical and not very believeable but still very funny. Then like Billy connolly it lost the ordinary-ness that made it great, they both ran out of ideas and deteriorated massivley. I would like to keep watching it since it was my favourite comedy from my teenage years but it just doesn't seem worth the viewers time anymore.
