Bionic Commando is an AMAZING game, and so is Rearmed. My only complains is that I think you should be able to use Spencer's Retro outfit in this one(I like it better), and that they removed the soldier saying ''Get the heck out of here you nerd!''. Voice dialogs would also be awesome, but whatever. This game still is absolutely stunning!

I've thought it IS his retro outfit that he's wearing in BCR. Also, the "Get the heck out of here, you nerd!" phrase is in the game, in text form, and can be read in some transmission after hacking one of the enemy's networks later in the game.

Unless I've misunderstood you and you were actually talking about the next-gen BC. But it isn't even out yet, is it?

No, I was talking about Rearmed. And I know that you can read the GTHOOHYN phrase in the enemy netwok hacking, but I meant the classic one in the FSA Camp. And no, hes not really wearing the retro outfit. In the NES game he had an awesome anime like haircut and a cool uniform instead of a jumpsuit(kinda). But the game still is awesome, it's a great example of what a NES port should be like.

Men it is the retro just a little updated. i mean, the old school uniform was that way bcz the game was takin place in the 40s or 50s according to the manual, now the plot is around the present-future so it has to look more stylish. and about the hair, cmon that means u like anime too much, i like it too, but the art direction of the game was to make character in a more realistic look. it fits A-OK.

What? No! I'm not even a fan of anime! I mean yes, I like Spencer's new design, but the previous one was alot better in my opinion. And the point is, that you unlock his NES design in the game, BUT only for use in the nextgen game. That's cool, but I think you should be able to use it in rearmed too.

Wife beater, stubble and dread locks? Or hot red hair and shades? I mean, they got rid of his original name, Rad Spencer for Nathan Spencer. I loved the new Bionic Commando game, but it was taking itself too seriously at times. And the new RAD SPENCER is a cliche unto himself. Retro outfit just works so much more than the new one.

Rad didn't even have a giant clunky arm in the NES version too! He just had a device that wraps around his arm.

That's pretty much the definition of Bionic Commando. A guy who can do amazing things with a robo arm, like swing from floor to floor, save the world, and doesn't care out getting the girl, but never the less a guy can't even jump.
