  • Sounds like pure scamboogery to me

  • one thing i learned, is never look at the comments when you like a song. never....

  • I just... I love Radiohead! They mean so much to me.

  • there's just something about this song..when you listen to it all the junk and sorrow in your life seems to have meaning.

  • this is definately one of my favorite radiohead songs. I don't know why I felt like I needed to share that, but its pretty nice to know that I can.

  • I'm pretty sure at one point I read "Mad Men Series Premiere"

  • Definitely inspired from this: Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Dance of Maya

  • Cool Video for the Song, fits well!

  • I can't believe this song doesn't get attention as one of the radiohead perfections!

  • who needs lsd?

  • My bestfriend recommended this song to me and she could've done better.

  • @biggtroy101 no.

your shitty taste in music could've done better

  • @superwiicrazy What?? Radiohead is fucking awesome!

  • @biggtroy101 I think both of you guys misunderstand each other. biggtroy101 meant *couldn't* have done better. You're both fans. I think.

  • @strangelycutlemon I know, i meant to say couldn't. lmao

  • I swear, 95% of Radiohead fan videos take place in a car or on some sort of high way.

  • @xRyan5 ...yeah its what i call the Drive By Night vibe.the only other bands i know that give me that feelin is depeche mode and the slower deftones songs (and Team Sleep of course).

  • Are the imagines following the music or they are to me just because i'm high? o.o

  • The video I always go to because the pattern thingy is tight.

  • Radiohead, I'm dead if you aren't around

  • Like this so much !

  • This is where I find peace in a world gone to shit (or maybe it always was shit).

  • wow, i was sober and completely hypnotized

  • ありがとう。

  • @mkmand84 omfg... I just made that top 3 list literally like and hour ago... Great minds think alike, huh?

  • @PatricktheDoody

Just enjoy the music! Music videos mean shit, they usually don't capture what song means visually. It's better getting your own interpretation of a song on your own instead of watching a music video or letting someone else tell you what a song should mean.

  • This song and video make me feel so sad....I can't describe it!

  • cool video, thx

  • I prefer the four tet remix...

  • Hail To The Thief is underated

  • @fungusuarus

    1. Ok Computerr

    2. Kid A

    3. Hail to the Thief

  • All hail to the thief

  • Yeah the songs on Hail to the Thief are just as good as anything else they've done and I agree that it's a fine installment of what I'd call the Kid A trilogy (era). It's also consistent because the songs are pretty much as good as each other (except for that Gloaming filler), but I agree it's the whole thing feels long and disjointed. I like to think of HttT has a flawed beautiful gem.

  • @Colliermoose .*****-kvs

  • i dont get why 11 people chose to dislike this masterpiece

  • under normal circumstances we'd say it was impossible to add anything of value to a song like this...but really, this video is very something special and took our high to new destinations--respect to you sir or madame; think you should be most proud of your work here. souscrité!!

  • @DreamCastleMagic Thank you! I was having a very deep moment when I filmed the footage and the song played. There is something about Scatterbrain that just makes me feel so strongly and yearn for the ease and freedom of that day in Hollywood.

  • Hail to the Thief is such an underrated album. No matter what people say about it, it is one of Radiohead's defining albums.

  • @Colliermoose

Absolutely. The only real valid criticism towards it is that its a little long and slightly disjointed. Most of the songs are excellent though

  • @Colliermoose i love the whole album i think that they did such a wonderfull job IMO its like another part of kid a... gotta love it

  • My acid trip just got better

  • Yeah! Fuck that nigger music!

  • Nice Mellow Track

  • Describes perfectly the life rhythm of all the people who have real feelings in this world.

    Such a beautiful song...

  • beautiful.

  • beautiful.

  • this video looks like a generic windows screen saver. editing software limits artistic expression to the tools provided. you didnt make this video, your computer did.

however I do like the song ALOT.

  • @jburkejburke1 What about the film he took to make it?

  • It's like liturgical music writen by god himself sung by his hand-picked chior-boy to represent the entire human race on the day of judgement.. with this voice singing for us - no way we don't pass the audition.

  • First time I have heard this, just got major chills down my spine, first time in months. In fact, I have a small tear in my eye.... for some reason; it has brought out a sense of vulnerability in me. Amazing.

  • scatterbrain - a masterpiece.

  • RADIOHEAD IS THE SHIT

  • where'd you get that trippy patterny clip from?

  • @qpwo6 Its a filter in final cut pro that I put on my footage of my trip down Sunset Blvd. The movements come from driving down the street. Very simple and by no means meant to be considered hard work haha.

  • @residentofboxfive ah, it's a bit like the thing they did in 'Dream' by Tally Hall, I was just wondering if that's what they did too.

  • this is just amazing.. and even more when you are alone with a beer and some cigarretes! may be the best song of radiohead!

  • you facebookers have got to see this shit if you dont like radiohead mute it but you need to watch this

  • this really is a trip :D

  • The absolute beauty of this song leaves me speechless each time.

  • The video defines what's next.

  • listen to the remix it's badass

  • Thank you Satan for such lovely music!

  • @archangel1092 Yeah, pretty sure he's not in this band.

  • @TakeThisDay agreed

  • @TakeThisDay in my religion he made music.

  • this, and alone at home, looking out at the window (sea view)... A bit cloudy but in a beautiful way in the early evening.. Lovely :P

  • lightning fuse, powercut, scatterbrains... Invigorating.

  • i love this band so fucking much it aint even funny!! gosh, they're so brilliant. the melodies & the quality. there are no words to explain how good radiohead is!!!!!

  • the best song of best band

  • I thought it was the real scatterbrain..by jeff beck at first, but although i dislike radiohead's pop-y stuff this has much more feeling

  • @SuperiorSwagon1 radiohead doesn't have poppy stuuff assfuck

  • Been watching this video over the years whenever I want to quickly inject some Radiohead into my veins, specifically Scatterbrain. It's probably my favorite song by them. And I've heard all of their bsides. This song is too beautiful. And your video compliments it perfectly. residentofboxfive, I thank thee.

  • @Armistice0 I thank thee for seeing and feeling what I see and feel.

  • @Armistice0

How can one ignore these cerebral symphonies of the soul? What sort of magic is this? Im in a spiraling vortex of emotional queries caught in a rapture of mystical euphoria. Loosen the noose and expand, the universe is listening to those that choose to speak its language...

  • @spaceVT How did you find me? Did the Universal Divine tell you who I am? Was there a click in you that said that I am 100% receptive to what you are saying, and in some sense, what you believe in in life?

The Collective that is us is waking up at an exponential rate. 9 months ago I knew of only myself who believed in a Collective Consciousness, but now, we're all coming together. So many strangers have been reaching out to me...it is magical.

  • @Armistice0

    ....all is one

  • Se conoscesse se, il passato.

    Farfalle cannibali e ridondanze.

    Al buio.

  • modern anxiety....modern life i meant, that niggling suspicion/paranoia that something's gone terribly wrong at a base level with our way of life and that we're little more than an out of control locomotive about to jump the track. Surely im not the only one here....

  • @YerJob No. You are not alone. I feel it everyday. I have learned to cope with it, but it's still difficult at times. You are absolutely correct about the modern anxiety/life and how Radiohead's music seems to reflect it, and it penetrates you. You worded it beautifully. I am impressed.

  • Radiohead is one of the only bands that i think gets that modern-anxiety thing. I constantly feel like im hearing transmissions from the end of the world when i listen to them

  • @YerJob Hey. I'd really like to hear what you mean by, modern anxiety?

  • @YerJob I didn't mean to vote down on this. I don't know what's wrong with my lappy.

  • Hail to the thief was a bit fragmented with Radiohead at the time not entirely confident in what direction to go to (based on interviews) but the album i think is defintely one of the best on the 2000's. I personally would be completely satisfied if the album just had songs like this and wolf at the door etc. Radiohead for life!

  • th kaliediscope is awesome

  • That part where he starts in with the "somewhere i'm not scatterbrain" gives me chills, u can hear the frustration in his voice.

  • just because its different doesnt make it sound weird to my ears but hey who am i anyways

  • This video reminds me of the visuals u get on a DMT trip, except on DMT the kaleidoscope imagery is more complex and 3 dimensional. The walls are flying by you like you're traveling through tunnels that are constantly changing and you encounter talking beings made out of light that tell you crazy stuff that you pretty much forget when the trip is over and you're like "god i wish i wrote that down". Kinda like you just died and are ascending to heaven but ur not ready to go yet.

  • Also, I'd written a song called Where I End And You Begin (I admit it, it wasn't great), thinking it was a really good name and all that, only to find that Radiohead had crept under my concsious and slipped their song name into my head!!

  • Amazing... I was thinking of band names and I came up with Scatterbrain. So I searched YouTube to see if there were any well-known bands already called Scatterbrain and I found this. Not only is Radiohead my favourite band, but I realize that I've seen this video before! I seriously think Radiohead influence my life in mysterious ways.

  • somewhere im not scatterbrain...

    beautiful song

    and video :)

  • damn¡¡¡¡ what a song¡¡¡

  • this is amazing, nice job!

  • fuck u.u helpless person

  • dog shit

  • top notch.

  • vid makes me drool really sick cant stop watching

  • @BloteAapOpVoeten high up there with you my friend. Jesus. :)

  • this video and this song remember me the old times...

  • number 9?

  • its rachel

  • @blueeyedcpu

    Alright, what's his number then?

  • i know thoms number

  • @blueeyedcpu

Really? Do you know his wife's name too?

  • thom said they wont be making any full length albums (like In Rainbows, Hail to the Thief, etc.) but I believe that somewhere he said there's still a possibility to EP's and LP's.

  • @KRMovies

I don't think you saw my comment about that. I read that Thom mentioned, during their Haiti benefit show in L.A., that they're currently in the studio, working on the full-length follow up, to "In Rainbows."

  • @defpoet28 god i hope so

  • @spasemonkey05

I know. I was quite euphoric when I heard the news.

  • @defpoet28

Oh i didnt hear about that. I just remember about a year ago an article said they were done with full albums, i hope youre right though

  • This is easily one of Radiohead's most hauntingly beautiful efforts. Every time I hear this song, it gives me shivers. So moving and delicate. And the lyrics are just SO good.

  • cabeza de chorlito :D hermosa cancion :') ! I love them !! (L)

  • YAY! scatterbrain!!

  • Watched this while high... HOLY FUCK

  • hahahahahahaha

  • ow!

  • Its not about money for these guys..hoorah! Time for some new ones Thom ,keep m coming in, love it always

  • @davestany

It's so unfortunate the band will no longer be making records. Thom said as much, in a BBC interview, this past autumn.

  • seems like he doesnt enjoy it? Why make such a statement ,i suppose theyve said enough. But maybe he will get the bug again.

  • @davestany

He said that, if the band tried to make another record, it would destroy them. I'm not quite sure what he meant, but when you've been making music for almost 18 years, I guess it can get quite challenging; the feeling that you need to constantly top your best effort. And honestly, I don't know how they could top "In Rainbows," especially with songs like "Reckoner" and "House of Cards."

  • yeh but im sure they could keep going ,why not ?I wonder if it would do any damage if they made a 'bad' one. Some of the older fans thoyght that the last album was bad because it was so different i guess....Theyre just burned out i reacon-er :) Hope to hear some new ones and a fresh angle again ,would be great always

  • @davestany

I read earlier, on the BBC website, that Radiohead WILL be releasing a new record in the spring. Yes!

  • great glad to hear some good news cheers

  • i heard there in the studio and will release an album sometime this year but whatever you say

  • @revalution1965

Yes, they are, currently, in the studio. They took a break, this past weekend, to play a Haiti benefit show, in L.A., but their new album, is due this Spring.

  • i cant wait, i just got into them about a year ago and this would be their first CD ill have to wait for and keep tabs on, ive noticed that they get more creative each album and am excited to see what they come up with next.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Your voice is rapping on my windowsill." Such a haunting tune, always brings chills down my spine.

"yesterday headlines, blown by the wind. Yesterdays people...scatterbrain."

    *swoons*

  • this is really cool, well played residentofboxfive.

  • eminim ki buddha bu müziği dinliyor mp3 çalarından...yalnız iken...uzakları düşünürken...

  • This song is such a good song to listen to whilst autumn leaves get blown around in the wind.

  • i agree ...radiohead has more freakin guts than any band i ever heard. some of their material might be weird but its worth it.

  • pioneering music. I like when bands aren't afraid to explore new grounds

  • sometimes you should think this little energic vessel is not a man hehe love his voice... so healing in a way

  • I wish I could fall in...

  • A beautiful creation.

  • Thank you!

  • great job! very entrancing..caught my attention right away

  • very cool. good job :)

  • its funny we the people who make music artists yet most of the "artists" jus create crap, this song n album is a work of art

  • were u on shrooms?

  • probably or had caleidoscopic eyes :-)

  • Polyethelene, the tourist, there there, knives out, i might be wrong...no particular order

  • 1. In Rainbows

    2. Kid A

    3. Amnesiac

    4. Ok Computer

    5. Hail To The Thief

    6. The Bends

    7. Pablo Honey

  • and there is no place for scatterbrain ? ^^

  • 1-Karma Police

    2-There There

    3-Lucky

    4-The Tourist

    5-Everything in its right place

  • For me it is

    1. Amnesiac and Hail to the thief

    2.Kid A

    3. In Rainbows (very close to Kid A)

    4.Ok Computer

    5.The Bends

    6.Pablo honey

  • Each to their own, and all that, but OK Computer is the best album of all time, in my opinion...definitley Radiohead's best at any stretch.

  • how can you put the bends in fift place? What is it you like Pulk/Pull revolving doors or what?

  • wait... the bends is just in fifth place to those other GREAT Raiohead Albums of course ages better than most stuff of any other bands though

its just that Amnesiac HTTT or Kid A are way more unique and inspiring for me

  • and indeed i love push/pulk revolving doors!

  • lol. I got used to it too... But it took me time ;)

  • are these movies?

  • no albums by radiohead

youre lucky cause you dont know them yet

    theres much to discover!

  • indeed! i always discover new songs from them, and the deeper i dig the better songs i find :)

  • Brilliant, hauting, beautiful..

  • in a concert, usually, there is one or two songs that when the guy plays the firsts chords, the entire crowd goes crazy and ahout and cry.

When i went to see this guys live, that thing happend with every single song... so i wonder: how can they write only good stuff? They wrote this years ago, and still keep playing with the same quality.

    UNIQUE!!

  • nice vid. i'm not really a fan of their stuff after 'kid a' but this is a good song

  • de poca madre la rola!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong..

  • "anyone can easy pick a hole (i only wish i could fall in).."

    i love this song!!

  • AMI IGual me enkanta.

    fabulosa

  • Raro que a gente

    le guste esta cancion...

Al menos yo soy de esa gente rara..

    :D

  • I think this album is incredible. Every time I dive into it I interpret it a different way. The band apparently didn't like the way it turned out... Just like every other Radiohead album since The Bends, you have to listen to this straight through on a serious stereo. Trust me.

  • ALBUMS NOT SONGS, PEOPLE!

  • 2+2=5, A Wolf At The Door, Life In Glass House, Paranoid Android, No Surprises, Fake Plastic Trees, Everthing In Its Right Place, House Of Cards, etc.

  • these guys sound sick. i just started listening to them...any song recommendations?

  • all of em mate

  • 15 step is a very catchy song. If your looking for a soft chilling one then listen to nude

  • 15 step, calma police, paranoid android. that should get u started
