Christmas is rubbish when youre in uni tho cos u cnt buy loads of presents cos student loan doesnt stretch very far :( ...and yeh mince pies and christmas pud arent nice but they look nice and you have to just have them there for the christmassy feel :)

In Iceland we open our gifts on Christmas Eve :) Christmas begin 6 o'clock on that day heh, then the dinner is supposed to be ready and everyone dressed up for dinner. Christmas day and Second Christmas day is just to see the family

I remember when I was little, hearing about some neighbors who opened on Christmas Eve night and I thought that so strange. And making gingerbread houses is a tradition in my home. When I was little we would make it homemade, but now we buy the kits. Not as good really, because you can't really eat it. Everything is really hard and flavorless. lol but it is still a fun activity to make.
