@stevesnaps1 Thank you for posting a comment! Yes, it is a fun way of fly fishing! I don't know if Tenkara was ever introduced in the GB. If you have a chance, please try it once! : ) Oh, and I thank you very much for subscribing to my channel.
FYI. The rod is Japanese made. 「竿金-SAOKIN」is a craftsman brand that is a part of 「東作-TOSAKU」 group of traditional Japanese fishing rod craftsmen guild . The guild can be traced back to 1788. When my rod was repaired several years ago by 東作, I verified its authenticity and value. Thank you for watching and the comment!
well, You can go for trophy size XL large trout to sensitive enough for Xtra small trout with that rod. I had it long ago got rid of it . Same here, From a Chinese next door Uncle .
@tenkarausa Thank you. A part of fun using this rod is that I miss a lot of fish because, unlike my carbon tenkara rod, it has very gentle and slow touch and action : )
Nice video, great way to fish for those beautiful looking trout. Thanks for you comments and subscription, all the best Steve.
