That K car got freakin air off of that bridge in the video.. freakin awesome.. thats what todays car adverts should have!.. you know the stuff you would do to it if it were a rental!
yea i mean it has a reputation for being reliable. but mine didn't last, and i wanted to share my first hand experience. i was curious to see comments/videos of other owners, if the reliability was just sales marketing hype or truth.
me to when i get my first one i will be so proud to drive one there better then anything out there today as in todays cars there so bland and boring cars of the 80s were allot better
Japs cars are to expensive to fix, not bad though. I rather buy american. an old one seaing how even american car parts are built in foreign countrys drove there parts up.
Even Chrysler was surprised at the sales popularity of the K cars as early as the mid 80s,sales never really trailed off badly, and was picked up by the $6995 America series in 1988.Tens of thousands of them alive still today, proves that Chrysler got the cars right. If you are nearly broke and need a car quick,a later K car would not be a terrible choice. They will persist for years more....take my word on that.
Yep, and same with the L body Omni and Horizon. In fact in 1990, the Horizon and Omni's last year, the car received some major modernizations, such as squared mirrors, an updated interior including a new gauge cluster, a reworked HVAC panel to move it from left of the wheel to center, and a new air bag. Some believe Chrysler was engineering the cars to run even longer, much like the Jeep Cherokee was, but crash ratings of the Horizon/Omni were quite poor, and this may have changed their minds.
