@senelyn831 im also a HUGE fan of darren but i know exactly what youre talking about. one thing ive noticed is that the only time he doesnt sound good is when he's singing with the warblers. even when he's singing glee songs theyre always amazing as solos. i was curious so i compared a solo performance of teenage dream to the glee recording and the glee version is much higher. with the warblers he's not singing in a good key for his voice. i dont think its nerves

@eeVieBeeVee Well, this is def. his most "over the top" performance of Teenage Dream. He is a silly person at his concerts, but usually only between songs, not that much during. There are much better examples of how he is in concerts than this, check on yt. But he makes every performance a little different anyway. Check out his other work before you buy tickets, to see it is your thing. He is not gonna play all Glee stuff, mostly his own songs and his songs for Starkids (his theatre company).

@smilemon25 i think thats part of it too because sometimes he does sound a little out of breath. i totally understand how he feels tho because i do theatre as well and dancing (esp the warbler choreography which is very jumpy) while singing is really hard. he sounds amazing in the vids from glee live tho!

Why is everybody skipping to the conclusion that he was drunk? I've seen other videos of him playing the piano and performing live and this is how he always acts...lol. And even if he did drink a little, he's 24 and can do whatever the hell he wants. And he's still adorable as ever<3 (:

wow went from 1,000 to 51,000 views cuz everybody's debating whether he's drunk or not lol. So that explains my first reaction to this video... AWFUL PERFORMANCE. and that explains why people are explaining his "out there" performance by saying he must be drunk lol Btw I love him on the show and think he's a great guy. Just the performance I don't like. If this is the way he always performs like some people are saying below, I guess I'll never buy tickets. Thanks for the tip

@eeVieBeeVee Well, this is def. his most "over the top" performance of Teenage Dream. He is a silly person at his concerts, but usually only between songs, not that much during. There are much better examples of how he is in concerts than this, check on yt. But he makes every performance a little different anyway. Check out his other work before you buy tickets, to see it is your thing. He is not gonna play all Glee stuff, mostly his own songs and his songs for Starkids (his theatre company).
