It has a shadow around it so you can see it better.

NHL 2K7 is still the best hockey game ever. I never get sick of it. I just update/create new players for rosters every year.

I can't stand it. It's all one-timers, to the point that even scoring on a breakaway is nigh-impossible.

On HoFer the scoring percentage on one timers is usually under 10%, not counting blocked shots/missed passes, while I score so much on slapshots from the point that I actually forced myself to stop using them (in my Franchise on Sim/HOFer Mike Rathje had 22 goals in 40 games, and I was scoring 5 per game as a team). Wraparounds are a little too easy as well, but at least they're ineffective unless it's off a rebound.

Does 2K7/8 have good graphics to the PS2.

It has basically the same graphics from 2K6. The PS2/Xbox versions of this game has very little differences from last year's game. If you wanted to compare, the PS2's graphics for 2K7 is slightly less polished than the Xbox version you see here.
