  • bahahahah ahhh alles is so wonderlik maar mammie en pappie moenie vanaand vir my opwag nie want vanaand gaan ek soos 'n besetende naai. Dit laat my cringe!!! flag my maar i dnt care

  • wtf wat word van suid afrikaanse movies

  • Ag nee man, nou maak ons ook so kak flieke soos High School musical?

  • @mkai4492 wel hier is nou jou kans om te probeer verbeter..... GO FOR IT !!!!

  • For shame. What a tragedy for the South African film industry. You bunch of gross, money grubbing hookers. And I mean that in the nicest way possible.

  • @louisviljoen28 Ai ou Louis, kan jy nie maar net mense hul vreugdes gun nie? Is jy Engels? (Jou naam klink baie Afrikaans) Wat is jy so gegrief?

If South African cinema wishes to compete on an international front, then we need to be able to withstand criticism, perhaps even expect and welcome it, because at least people are paying attention. I certainly have nothing against Afrikaners (Or South Africans) making leaps into differing film genres. In fact, I find it quite amazing.

  • @Iguanarick PART 2: However, if I find a film or it's trailer nausiating, then I will say so. This is not a movie that looks good (to me, I admit). And I do find it's cashing in on recent musical trends. That is the filmmakers' right, but it doesn't mean I need to agreed with with. That being said, Lika Berning is a gorgeous woman and a decent actress. I am a fan. (PS. Ek is half-afrikaans, maar my engels is n bietjie beter. So ek hoop jy verstaan hoekom ek reply in engels,)

  • @louisviljoen28 OK, that's fair. You are entitled to your opinion, and criticism should be welcomed. But let's wait for the full movie, then decide. They may be targeting a certain audience, which is why they chose to put these scenes in the trailer. I never watched "Hairspary" because it looked like such a teenager movie in the trailers. When I saw it eventually on TV, I wished I had gone to see it on the big screen when it was still on.

  • @louisviljoen28 What I'm trying to say is, watch the movie, or wait for it to be on tv, and then give criticism or praise if needed, and perhaps, if you feel it can help wih the future of South African productions, be more specific about what it is you find nauseating. That is the only way it can be improved.

  • @Iguanarick I'm glad this discussion ended up being quite amicable. Good talking to you, Iguana Rick.

  • WOW WOW WOW!!!! Dis lyk so awsome kanie wag dat dit begin wys nie. :-)

  • Aijaijai!!! Dis mos nou hoe 'n musical moet lyk!! Yeah! dis amper hier!

  • wow!! Ek gaan dit nie mis nie.... kan nie meer wag nie!!
