that sounds like bad luck there. i have a 1996 accord and the only problem ive hac so far was a fan motor went out during the summer causing the radiator to heat up pretty good and eventually it got pissed that i didnt put a new fan in and cracked but now its all good lol
i have driving already with 4 honda, NEVER had any problems, my first crx had almost 300.000km and still going with no problems, its a matter how you drive the car and how you respect them.
for somebody now a little bit of cars must now that the japanese engines are the best.
idk, sounds like a bad bearing, if it were the belt (if it has one) im no honda expert, it wouldnt be running

if they told you the timing belt snapped, they are full of shit. That motor uses a timing chain.

I got my 94 Honda Accord EX since 04 and my dad bought it back in 95-96. Car ran hella good. Now its got a JDM H22 equiped.

sounds like you have a bad idler pulley. Take it back to the dealer. Should be under warranty still.
