Cyprus Airlines is a great airline. I flew with them once from Milan to Larnaka, great flight. Wish we could say the same for Olympic airways. They are the worst airline in history with horrible service, rude flight attendants and nasty food.

I have 1 Question::::::::::

If Pilot of A330 pull the Side Stick more than need after Positve Rate Of Climb and close to stall speed or about to Stall ..did the A/c acts as pilot desired Pitch or there is system to recover this Mistake automatically??

i believe the autopilot takes over if the actions of the pilot will put the plane in danger of stalling.  so yeah, the mistake is corrected automatically. for example, if the pitch angel is too high, the AP will add thrust and bring the nose down to avoid stalling. hope that helps. i'm sure you can find much more helpful info else where on the internet.

what confuses me slightly sometimes when watching these videos is when you can see the pilot controlling the plane with the sidestick, his hand movements/input in to the side stick always seem quite drastic but yet the plane doesnt seem to react as drastic as what you would think as a result of the inputs to the side stick ? if that makes sense. any help i would be greatful,thanks

It does require a bit of a pull, but the plane is incredibly responsive.Its mainly because of the Fly By Wire tech. It wont allow you to pull up to fast at certain speeds,etc. EG. if your stalling the Fly By Wire, will not make it possible to pitch the aircraft to much. Or if you've taken off with windshear, on your main screen you've got limited pitch control. (Preventing you from pitch to high and stalling.)

Fly by wire doesn't allow drastic actions, so to compensate the pilots have to go harder on the sidestick than usual.

both the captain and the flight officer are picture the same I I would picture those in my head. I would expect some older gentleman flying the captains seat and a very young bold other guy on the right as a flight officer.

That looks like a fantastic video! I can't wait to buy it. I hope we can see some other great European airlines flying within Europe in the future too. Any additional videos with an E170 or E190 would be great. I already have the Cirrus Video which is great with the E170. Flybe would be my top pick for the E195 - I would be the first to order an updated Flybe video (please tell them that - I am a huge fan of Flybe and I bought the first video). Cheers

Yes, good video, but please Justplanes, think of the ship costs to order a dvd for France! Why are your dvd so expensive? Please, just a little reduction of your prices and I will buy some more, like many other people I am sure!

First of all we have not increased the prices of our programs since 1994... I don't know of many companies that have kept their pricing the same for nearly 15 years! Our DVDs can't be priced like movies that sell a million copies, we don't... and we also spend a LOT on producing these DVDs so if you want us to stay in business we have to charge $30 for a 3-4 hour DVD...
