Can i call a steezer a hipster? I searched what steezer ment its a pothead/skater but where i live all this kids be dressing with the latest clothes tight jeans listen to fken dubstep/techno have this like slim jim spiky long hair and wear this snap backs... and like to shuffle but their kinda pretty boish to i cant stand them and they use the word SWAG. So would that be considered a hipster? like i said they all call themselfs STEEZERS yet i searched it up and it means skater/pothead
@StbI990 Huh... Dude I hate the kids who try to look emo and cut themselves to be cool, and all of that... those kids are fucked in the head... I was emo because I had serious depression and anxiety problems.... I slowly got better, and I'm better atm. When I got over that, I stoped being emo.... simple as that. The kids who do it for a look, seriously are fucked in the head.
I suggest that my personality could not be of hipster style, however it's not evident that I am not a hipster, quite re presentably a different style. There fuck paradox.
Hipster is basically counter culture homogenized and then adopted by cool kids and posers. Beatniks were hipster postmodernists. Britpop was the hipster version of Indie Rock which was the hipster version of post punk which was the hipster version of punk lol Most Goths are hipsters, all emo's are hipsters, METEROSEXUALITY is hipster.
Hipsters are cool in the sense that they refuse to be normal. But it's all too normal for them to think they're better than the rest of us. You can be artsy and different without being snotty.
the word "hipster" sounds weird after awhile....
