dude, can't you just say, "i prefer The Zombies"?... being a condescending purveyor of put-downs doesn't make you cool. so please take your pro-The Zombies message elsewhere- preferably to the comment list on a The Zombies video.

  • Last year I bought their latest disc because Amazon recommended it based on what I'd bought. I loved it from the start and bought this album and the second one sight unseen (sound unheard?) a couple days later. One of the few modern bands that captures the essence of the superb Beatles/BeachBoys/Zombies sound.

  • Everyone needs to hear Dr Dog. Their amazing talent needs to be shared with everyone.

Please -- everyone who really enjoys their music, share the wealth. This is music the world needs to hear.

Dr Dog is amazing. Best bad of the new millennium and now one of my top 5 favorite bands -- EASILY.

    Long live the Doctor.

  • @SecludedMemory geez man, slow down on the dr dog lol. ya, i just found them not more than 5 minutes ago. they're really good

  • @yolandadlt I REFUSE! But seriously, I really am addicted. Seen them live 20+ times and they continue to impress every time.

  • @SecludedMemory i'm like stuck now.. i really like the breeze and fools life! major kick ass stuff!

  • @yolandadlt Just keep listening and falling in love. The only recommendation I have left is to just buy all of their albums. I guarantee you won't find a song you don't like.

  • Terrific!!!!!! 6/5 stars!!!!!

  • I try to go with vinyl when I can.

  • I download. I'm a broke college student. However, if the band is good enough, I will go see them live, where I know my money is going to the band.

  • great job! some people at our school did something similar with another song ;D

  • Oh mein Gott!!

  • I actually found about 6 songs from them, you just have to wait. i found, oh,no, my old ways, ain't it strange, heart it races, old news, and worst trip

  • is this on limewire?

  • good luck trying to find any Dr. dog songs on limewire, you'll get a couple hundred hits of Snoop Dogg Featuring Dr. Dre within a couple seconds and never be able to find what you're looking for.

  • seriously i have tried getting them but it wont show this song at all i love Dr. Dog and the spinto band

  • you can get them on limewire! just type in there album.

  • Or you could pay a couple bucks and support the musicians.

  • yeah itunes has already done that so basically your buying itunes not helping them.! get it.

  • exactly thankyou

  • Whoa, who said buy from itunes...

Picked mine up at a show, you know, support. I understand that some can't make it to shows, but there are other means besides the all mighty itunes.

  • OMG! People already think that iTunes is the only way?

  • or you can download the songs from limewire

  • Or you can go to the store and just walk out with the CD under your trench coat. Same thing, thief.

  • In order to be theft you have to deprive someone of property. Downloading music is not theft you irrational moron.

  • Property or income. You are depriving them of income from their INTELLECTUAL property by downloading without paying. Thief.

  • I am not proud of downloading music, but it's not theft. You are not paying the artist, but they certainly are not losing property. All in all it's morally wrong, but it's definitely not theft

  • If you really like a band, you would buy their music. I don't care if you download music, but it is stealing! You are getting something that is for sale in a retail store for free. I used to download music for free, but I haven't in over 5 years. But I work in the music industry and I support my favorite artists. I hope you will start buying your music. Not only are yo supporting the artist, but you get a tangible item (the CD or vinyl).

  • It is not stealing. In order for it to be theft, there would have to be a party losing property. I know it is wrong, but if I were to be called a thief, I'd rather it be for better reasons. I can proudly say that I have not downloaded any of Dr. Dog's music though

  • how is downloadin sumthin ur self any diferent then gettin a copy from a friend or makin a tape like in the 80s u arent paying for those copies nobody was bitchin so dont go givin these guys a hard time cuz there cheap bastards that screw their "favorite" bands and u wanna feel better about YOur self fuck you

  • When did I ever talk about getting a copy from a friend? Fuck you prick. And learn how to fucking type dip shit. Just go out and buy an album for yourself today.

  • where do u see ur name captain jackass but since u wanna step up n not know how to read ill s-p-e-l-l it out 4 u i said downloadin is no different than bummin a copy the ones that do it r jus beating their own musicians as far as u n ur friends "bands" go u dont gota worry bout bootleggin a recordin of two retards makin love in the dark so u can keep sellin ur garage garbage if anyone bsides ur family wants to buy it

  • I don't even know what you just said

  • Do you have any idea how little a band makes per cd sold? It produces such little income its completely inconsequential. So please stop trying to push your crooked ideals on other people.

  • thats completely variable on the deal they have worked out with their label, or if they have a label at all, in which case they are making the lion's share of profits from their cd. don't make an excuse for yourself and others to steal a product, because it annoys me

  • I'm sorry but your annoyance means nothing to me. Also, it's next to impossible to produce and sell an album for profit without a label (in which case the label makes most of the money). Most bands aren't paid per disc sold it's more a once and done kind of deal. Now if I like a band I'll see them in concert or buy their album but you have to realize that music sharing has become such an accepted practice that you have to embrace the future. Have you never burnt a friend's cd onto your computer?

  • Actually it's not that hard. I have many friends in bands that have recorded an album themselves. And when they sell it all the profits go to them. And yes artists get paid per record sold. It's anywhere from 10-18% of the wholesale price. Nowadays a band can do everything themselves. With the internet it's so easy.

  • Not exactly true. You still need to sink a LOT of money in to get an album out there. But you are mostly right, brother. The internet should be used as a gift for musicians.

  • Ya but do you want to see your favorite so-so underground or w/e indie band fade away because no1 bought a damn Cd ? Don't be cheap and support our troups....erh Musicians

  • it is if if you download the song illegally not giving the band its proper credit

  • you must have a problem of being cheep, you obviously don't give a shit on how much musicians like this put in to making an album. by downloading music off lime wire tells people that music is not valued. its much better to have a cd collection verses a sloppy array of random downloaded music without the Album art, cd case, and book let, and most of all the cd. downloading illegally is wrong and its one of the reasons crappy music is being produced.

  • Not at all the same thing.

  • @Alabamamike6

musicians make most of their money from live performances and merchandizing, especially when compared to CD sales. besides, you would think indie artists would be more concerned with spreading their work then being sold.

  • nokidding,

  • is it really that hard to find 12 dollars and buy the cd?

  • with bands like dr. dog it's harder to find the cd than it is to find the 14 dollars.

  • i was just at barnes and noble and i saw their cd out on display.

  • you go to a really fucking hip barnes and noble, man.

  • personally i cant stand mp3's, they are only good for previewing music. sound quality is apparent, and its awesome to have the case and artwork. Anyone who gives the argument that buying cds does not help the band are fooling themselves. I understand downloading if your broke. but for christ sake buy the album when you can. buying a cd is a vote for the band. and supports the label that promotes them and help pay for the recording your stealing. Do what you've got to but don't try to justify it

  • The only time i really download is when its a band i think is just "ok" i buy Cd's from bands that i think are really good and its a great album, but i dont want to waste my money on an album that ill only like two songs off of, i dont think the band would mind if i just downloaded those two lone songs.

  • Same - a recent study found that "pirates" are the ones who buy the most music anyways. I support the artists that I really enjoy - I "browse" a lot of music online but usually only like one or two songs from most albums... I'm definitely going to pick up at least one Dr. Dog album though, they're really fun and fresh.
