Hi! Good Video and info. I have heard of that stuff, looks like it works well. I bought a used class A about a month ago, had a water leak at the right rear of the roof. Didn't look too bad untill I removed the inside wall of the cabinet. Wood rot of the studs, pulled them out as if it was made play dough. Still drying as I'm typing this been about two weeks with fans, heaters. But by this weekend I hope to put more time in to it. ABC is not to far from here. I'll have to pick up a roll
Hello, I worked for Fleetwood as a factory service tech from '90 til '98. Thats a classic sidewall de-lam. Looking at your damage, both sidewalls would get completely tore down to the tube steel and whatever interior panels are salvageable. Be careful with hanging cabinets above the sofa, they are know to fall and conk ya on the head. We sealed all of our serviced coaches with a flexible sealer called SikaFlex. Fleetwood used to warrant these sidewall de-lams. We'd refurb em for free.
Seal-Fast Tape is made by Mule-Hide products in Beloit, WI and Eternabond is made Eternabond Mundelein, IL. That's what the guy at ABC Supply said. To me it looks like the same product, I use the Seal-Fast also. Great video, hope you're doing better.
sorry that part 2 was not made yet. my appendix burst, and I have been in the hospital for 6 weeks, and home recovering. I did the repairs on the roof, before a storm, but have not documented the roof yet. thank you.
