Well considering it's my project car, it's alright. I don't want to spend money on an exhaust system when the motor will be swapped with another one soon. The exhaust that I had before was just a straight pipe, and it was too loud.
A call to a scrapyard would have solved that problem cheaper and better, but with the car looking like that, Whether you are restoring it or not. it shouldnt even be driven till fixed. And why swap for a V8? Would make your car understeer more, due to heavier weight, A V8 would do nothing but screw up the balance in return for power that a Toyota or Nissan straight 6 dohc could easily deliver, as the 280ZX is not even designed to have a V8 under the hood.. not without consequences anyways..
lol the SBC actually bring the weight further back so its even closer to 50/50 weight distribution, and it only weighs around 100lbs more than the Lseries and the aftermarket support is outrageous

no offense, u shuld have went with the stock exhaust. that exhaust there did offense to ur Z, made it sound like a lawnmower imo.
