@tzDub92 really simple mate. this steel comes with tempering guidlines. so you pre heat your house oven and just stick it in the the temp and time stated for the hardness you want. or you can heat from the spine with a gas torch and watch the colours run,,straw colour at the cutting edge the quench in water to stop the process. it seams to work. the blade holds a decent edge.
