  • they do sell precut studs ya know.

i don't see how taking the material off the bunk putting it in that jig, clamping it sawing it on BOTH ends, removing it, restacking it elsewhere, is faster than cutting off the stack using a stud precut to length with a stop block.

i wouldn't even pull out a miter saw for that sort of work, there's no need!

oh and you waste lumber with that thing, instead of one long cutoff you have two more useless short ones, assuming you're cutting as much off as you did

  • cool idea, but useless as tits on a nun.

  • Dude I could have cut 300 boards in the time frame. Don't bring that to my jobsight it would stay right in the back of you your volvo station wagon. I know it sucks gettin your balls busted on youtube, but its all in fun.

  • wHAT A WASTE OF TIME

  • I will never cut studs that way, maybe good idea for diy kind a people.

  • Nice job Mike, you look great on video. Nice idea, good luck. May you sell the rights to a large company, retire and live somewhere warm. Scott

  • All of that to replace a chop saw, and a block clamped in place??
