  • I'm not a football player but I'm lovin the passion in these comments.

  • It's something bigger than any one person, and to be a part of it selflessly and wholeheartedly is beautiful and will create something you never intended it to. It makes you. Those summers are the fire, fall the hammer and anvil. It makes you into a tempered human in all aspects of life. There's more to this game than fun and pain, victory and failure. What you can become. Greatest thing a teenager can hope to be a part of, and it's real. E. Paulding 2005-2008. Will never forget my Raiders.

  • Guys you can achieve anything as long as you believe it live it and put your heart into it. Screw what anybody else says.

  • also academic wise thats what a real athlete is. im 14 and I know things are not easy but these negative growner people are trying to kill young peoples soul.and just because you didnt make it doesnt mean they cant make it. GET A LIFE. And to us younger people we can do anything we want to do in this world dont let nobody tell you you arent anything.

  • you know what? Im tired of the naysayers that hate on people. sometimes they say to make it to the nfl you need height and size. Well sometimes i think it is true because of all my coaches that downgrademe for my size but which "not to be talking stuff" i know im the best player on the team and he says im too small that is why i watch this movie and barry sanders all the time you can do anything if you put your mind on it.

  • Listining to this song makes me wanna cry for my knight brothers. Went to state and lost.... Heartbreaking. Knowing it was my senior year, I gave it my all, I guess it wasn't enough. Never going to put on a helmet, the pads, the cletes. It's sad. For all you guys in Middle School football where all the excitement really starts. and you're heading off to highschool next year. Remember every practice, every snap, and every play as if it were your last.

  • (Continued) sorry---charish it young people, though i have grown up since then, and now have a family and im a hard working man, i miss the field so much, i miss the friday night lights so much, i think about me and the 1999 2nd place in nationals for pee wee, we lost to the 49er's for the title in Orlando, FL, but we won the state before we got there in Austin TX, charish it young people, the smell of the field, the uniforms, and pads, and never give up the game.........

  • (Continued)...that I dont regret those stupid decisions, I played NT in a 4-3, I cried when i saw this movie, this movie and Any Given Sunday best Football Movies of all time, now my brother plays DT for Carter and nxt yr is his senior year, I talke to him and tell him to charish every snap, every practice, every huddle, because youll never know when it will end, young people please charish the game, listen to your coaches, no matter what life you may had or have, charish it please

  • Everyone, I played pee wee football when I was young for 5 yrs until i got to high school, I played for Carter High School in Dallas, the school they show in the movie who beat the Panthers for the State Title, unfortunatly, i made the wrong decisions, I fell out of love of the game at the time for love of money, so i chose to hang up my cleats to work and sell drugs, i didnt have a nice childhood so i wanted the fancy things in life, very stupid i know, but there is not a day that goes by......

  • I'm a freshman. And this movie inspires me to be the best i can be in football. Me and my brothers became a family last year in 8th grade. And we he a great season then. And we grew stronger and this year we were 6-1-1. And it feels great to be a strong power in the division. This movie makes me want to do everything i can to help my team win. I miss football season. And i can't wait until next season. To bind with my brothers even more and become stronger and better.

  • After watching that movie... im going to cherish every second of the games, wins, losses, and tough/hot summer practices

  • Is it football season yet??

  • can anyone correctly tell me what term is used to describe the guitar effects in this song/the intro theme to the show? its almost like a sentimental feel

  • @bgt455 it's a pedal that makes an echoey sound

  • Started tearing up when I thought that after this year, I'll never play football again. Never strap on a helmet. Never put on my shoulder pads. It's sad. But it just makes me want to make this year count so much more. I love my brothers.

  • I'm a junior, and I know I haven't graduated yet, but this makes me want to make every second with my boys count. I'm going to miss them. The lights. The team. The brothers. The stadium. The town. The feelings. Cherish each and every moment of your high school career, bad or good. You WILL remember it for the rest of your life. High school is where you start becoming the person you're gonna be for the rest of your life.

  • @7556Andrew I'm what you call a "Student Athlete" it's when you're dedicated to both. I've heard enough of people saying to quit high school football because it's pointless. Those people havent played.

  • I just finished my senior season of football. My time is done and it is the saddest thing. nothing beats playing Friday nights with your brothers in front of the whole city. Enjoy your time while you have it. It is a once in a lifetime experience that can never be repeated. Shout out to my class, "Go Knights!"

  • Im listening to this song while I watch the team I was just on play for the State title I lost in high school...could be the song or the situation but I had to wipe a few tears away

  • Always cherrish the game, I couldnt play the game my senior year due to concussions, you never know when your game would be the last

  • I wouldn't trade a thing for all those Friday nights.

  • I'd give anything for one more Friday night with my brothers

  • To all the young guys playing football... Enjoy it, it's a game, it should be fun. It's about the comaraderie with your teammates, playing under the lights for your school. Im a freshman in college still playing football.I can garuntee you this much- the best moments of your football and highschool career will be those friday night lights.. When your coaches tell you they would do anything to be in your shoes, they mean it. Don't take it for granted. Those years go fast. Cherish it while you can

  • to all the high school guys. im now a sophmore in college and playing ball still but the one piece of advise i could give you is to cherish each moment, each hot camp practice, each time your getting yelled out by your coach, all the games, and the great friends and memories you have made that will last a lifetime. and another thing play with no regrets ino you hear it all the time but when that final whistle blows and your seasons over you dont wanna look back and think what if?

  • This is just great!! This sums up my year and it was a great one. 8-1 Conference chance and made it to semi finals in playoffs and lost with 4sec left on a terrible call and the team that barely beat us went on to win state the next week. Cherish those hot sweaty doubles, Wins, Losses, and those frigged practices in November. Aquin Bulldogs forever!! <3

  • As a senior that has played his last game, this song sums up football for me. The bitter sweet moments that fill a football players life are in here. Our team went 2-7 but nothing will ever replace what we all felt that night of our last game. Most of us could not get all our tears out at one time. It took a few days and even until now, 3 months after our last game, we still cry over it. I just wish I had one more play in my high school colors, just to feel those lights again and hear the crowd.

  • I played my last game ever as a senior in the state championship today and lost 35-23. We finished the season 14-1 and came into this game undefeated. I love all my brothers and even though it didn't end the way we would have liked, it was still the best time of my life so far. High school football is something truly special and this season was one of the best times of my life. This song brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it and it captures the essence of friday nights.

  • love friday night lights movie i watch it over and over ...

  • I am married to an American, who is a die-hard football fan. He introduced me to the magic of Friday NIght Lights, both the movie and the series. I love this music. The strings make me cry, and think of a better world, filled with hope. Full hearts, can't lose.

  • i played little league 2 years and our 1st we didnt win 1 regular season game we went 0-9 but in the playoff's we went all the way to the championship and lost cuz i dropped a touchdown i listend to this and cryed so much then the next day my coach came to my house and tlked to me about winning and loosing and how he was still proud of it i promised him that ill never drop a pass in the next season again.

Next season rolled around and we went 9-0 in the championship i caught the game winner!!!

  • Played Baseball class was the greatest Baseball Class in my school. We had are best record ever in all 4 year there. In My freshman year and sophomore year we had the best record in our division but got beat down in the 1st round of the payoffs. JR year playing on the Vrsity Team we made the playoffs again. Played #1 team the game was tied 9-9 I hit the game wining single giving my team there first ever Playoff Win in school history. I am 36 and when I think of that day 17 I begin to cry.

  • I need to stop coming back to this video, brings back the past 8 years of my football. Middle school and high school. Amazing and indescribable times.

  • I Wan't to cry sooo bad but i cant!!! :'(

  • Beautiful song. To relax is best.

  • Lost in the 3rd round , played a 13-0 team, we were 12-0. We lost our starting QB last game of the season. We were trucking teams the whole season, but it came to an end tonight. Even though we were two games short of the state title, I will cherish every memory and love every member of that team as a brother.

  • My team and I just lost the state championship by 1 point in overtime and would've tied a state record for most gold balls, but despite coming up short it was an experience I won't forget any time soon. Thought of this song when we were presented the silver ball.

  • I just played my last game for my team a couple months ago in England (We don't have high school teams just yet but we all play on sunday) and my team only started 3 years ago. We were put in one of the toughest divisions in the nation and we fought from a 6-3-1 team my first two years to an 8-0 regular season. We lost in our first ever playoff game which sucked even more because I was injured. Black and red will always run through my veins. CATS PRIDE.

  • i live up in canada and could give 2 shits less about hockey. it just cant compare to football in anyway, the spirit the emotion the pride the commerodity. we had a pretty good team this year but lost to the number 1 school by more than we should have. even as a junior i broke down and cried knowing that's probly last time i play with those guys, and just having that empty feeling. next year gotta get my ring . HUSKIES!!!!!

  • My teams season just ended on Friday, I played my last game then. We all sat in the weight room and we (the seniors) went around and hugged one another knowing that was our last game together. Our rough and tough coach even broke down and told us we were the most special group he has ever coached in his 20 years of coaching high school football. Bringing tears to my eyes writing this.

  • I'm a senior WR at my school, and all season long I struggled catching the ball and holding onto it; my coaches and teammates were disappointed, and I even began to lose faith in myself. In our final game, I watched a video with this song and a man giving a speech about success. I felt like I could achieve anything. I played, caught every ball because I wanted to be successful. Football has taught me that if you want something, you have to want it more than anything else in the world.

  • started varsity my first year in high school baseball this year. i listened to this before every game. i hit a walk off for us to win the section championship. everytime i listen to this i think of that at bat.

  • I was a basketball player in highschool who coyldnt wait to go play college bball, then got a scolarship to a small d2 skool, Ill always remember highskool bball enjoy it it would be the best time of ur life

  • High school football is everything. Blood sweat and tears were put into my final season, and we're still going in the playoffs. I'm a starting left guard, but not interested in college ball like bloodbrothera. Memories I'll never forget have been on that field.

  • Last night was my last game ever. I cant stop watching friday night light clips. and i can't stop getting these goose bumps

  • I hope I get another for games this year and aun state next 31st cuz ill never play again after

  • Couldn't say it better.....

  • Brian"Smash Williams has the ball.!!oooooo OooO he score!!

  • @dadu925 boobie miles> smash williams

  • cool opinon.

  • I can't help but tear up... Friday Nights are gone for me now, Class 2012!! Football made me the man I am today. Coach said that this moment would come soon 3 years ago, he was right. Play like it's your last game cause you never know. I love you football

  • if you live in wisconsintheres only 8 teams still playing in each division and for the sinuers that are done be proud of how you played this year for the ppl who are coming back next year play ever snap like it could be your last cus you never know witch one could end your seson or in some cases carerer on friday night let your balls hang and play with no regret then hit the feild and levea it all there cuss you never kno when it could all be over

  • 709,869 wievs X 8:17 minutes = we share the same feeling <3! make me play the ball haha right?!

  • Yes, I applaused at my screen after listenning this.

  • To all high school football players,

I no longer play football.... I've graduated and moved on and am now a sophomore in college. My word of advice for yall is to cherish every moment of your football days, every tough practice, every lose, every win...... EVERYTHING! there's not a Friday night that I don't wish I could do it again; win conference again, put my cleats, helmet, or pads on. Even the hot summer practices i miss. Love the game and remember there is nothing greater than Friday nights

  • Couldn't have said it better myself. My high school team won the basketball championship my senior year and I was captain of the team. I've since gone and graduated college and am in law school now. At 26 years old I still think back to high school as the best time I've had. Growing up your whole life with your teammates and having friends and family to support you every Friday is a feeling you never fully get back in college and afterwards. All those still in highschool cherish it while you can

  • @rbowles61 I agree bro, I'm a Freshman in college and I play d3 football and I still miss the high school days... It was all just a lot more fun and my senior year went by way too fast... Our senior class sat huddled at the 50 yard line after our senior night and I'm pretty sure I've never cried that much nor even seen my fellow seniors cry before... It truly was a great experiece.. I would do anything for one more game as a Pioneer.

  • @ztballerr I'm in the exact same boat. I'm a freshman playing D-III and as much fun as that is nothing can compare to the memories that you make playing high school football under those friday night lights. All of the hardships that you go through together as a team creates a brotherhood and bond that can't be shared absolutely anywhere else in life.

  • @rbowles61 Wow... I'm a Junior and used to hate almost each day of practice but loved the games beyond belief. After reading this? I'm gonna live up my senior season.

  • @GMacHuskies Get a good education best advice I can give you quit the team and apply for every scholarship you can.

  • @rbowles61 I'm about to turn 40 and can honestly say that I often find myself replaying the games I played back in high school. Those were great times and I wholeheartedly echo your sentiments. For all of you out there playing right now; give it your all, and remember there is no better time than the time you spend in high school playing football.

  • Clear eyes, full hearts, CANT LOOSE!!!

  • Great song. makes me wish i played football...

  • WHATTHEFUCKISTHISSORCERY

  • Im 16, a junior i love football with all my heart i dream i can play it my hole life but i cant i have one more year my season ended early this year beacuse of a stupid mistake i will regreat the rest of my life, i failed of the team thinking its only 2 games, well its 2 games i will never get back i will do anything posible to start my football carrer over but its a lil late give it all you got no matter what beacuse you dont know, it might just be your last play FOOTBALL ♥

  • @houstorres I'm a junior too, i wasn't really into football this year because, well the team isn't very atheletic and we weren't winning games. i got hurt in the 5th game. i'm out for the season and 8 months after that. Every friday i die on the inside because i want to give it one more shot. I never thought i would miss it this much. So when you start playing again, go extra hard for the people who can't, even if you don't know they exist. Hope your season goes well.

  • I have 3 Games left :/ this really makes me think that there arnt many games left for me :( and i gotta make the most of them. Senior year now :/ i remember when i saw the movie it wasnt really a reality to me. but now seeing that my senior season of fridays is coming to an end. its really sad

  • @villapoto50 Only 3??!! I thought it ends in December?

    How early did you start?

  • @villapoto50 so sad man

  • this makes me sad... memories..

  • I now know how much this game means to me i have only 3 years left, and i'ma make the most of them...

  • This song made me realize how much football means to me and how much I miss it :,(

  • hearing the theme for fnl always gives me goosebumps. words can't express how much i love the show and how much it means to me.

  • nice one ;)

  • i think this is the song from the movie Friday Night Lights, isnt it?

  • i think this is the song from the movie Friday Night Lights, isnt it?

  • that's not the theme..it's similar but it's not the theme.

  • @mashakos

Actually it is...They edited and mixed the song for the into.

  • Truky one of the 10 most underrated TV shows ever.

  • i didnt think much of it being my last play of the game , i know im only out for a game or something but this game coming up means that we can win the league title , im out for it , i got layed out , play every play like its your last sure i get to play but this game will be the most important of my life and i cant play , just a heads up play every play like its your last , dont take anything for granted , cause you never know what will happen next play

  • Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose! <3

  • i played a district game this past thursday and i didnt play as good as i wanted but seeing these comments gets my blood going and even though the suns down i just wanna go out to the feild and just play and keep playin cause tomorrows not promised and everyday u spend being scared is another day wasted to play the good sport cause when i grow old i wanna look back and tell my grandkids that i wasnt scared to go lay someone out

  • Football isn't just a sport, it shows you about life. The good and the bad. It shows you that you have a third family that would be there for you thick and thin. Shows you that coach's care about you as much as your parents do. Shows you that the players on the team are not just your friends or teammates...they are your Brother's. Show's you that they will be there for you. That's what football is about.

  • This song kills me to know i threw away my chance to have a high school football experience.

  • Today was the fist game of my high school football career. I remember when i was a kid when i would dream about playing UD football and it has just begun. Cheers to the next four of the greatest years of my life!

  • this song is fantastic

  • The first time i listened to this song was last night before my first varsity football game as my coach gave one amazing speech he kept telling us that you dont know when ur last down of football can be his was before his senior year in college he never got to experience his last year of amazing football thats when last night i went in for one play that one play i played with my heart. i played it with all my heart not just the little so play every game and down of football like its your last

  • My cousin is Kyle Chandler off FNL and him and this show has inspired me to do my best. Even though I play soccer there's not a game that goes by that I don't repeat "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose" in my mind and out loud. Deep down I think we are all Dillon Panthers or East Dillon Lions, we starve to be the best...

  • best inspirational instumental everr

  • first game 2mm of the season. im thinking of so many things happening 2mm looking at the crowd the familes cheering us on but i see all my brothers eyes having my back and having theres 2mm we make statement like its our last play we win this game determines how we will be for the season

  • this movie touched my heart. it tought me and it should teach you all that winning isnt what matters, even though it feels good, its how you played and if you had fun. you cant go on a feild and say winning is all that matters. no its how you played. and never give up, just because your loosing doesnt mean youve lost, it means that you still try even though will probably loose, still keep trying and never give up.

  • I still remember my last play. 21 years old, the world still to be mine. From the second of the snap my heart was racing. I ran and my muscles burned and struck the ball and went for miles. So far I could have been sure I had the game covered, it might have even been a six. But my opponent flipped it back over the table to me and in that moment my hand trembled on the stick as glided across the ice to the shuttlecock striking it with everything I had. Then the referee announced "Love all".

  • Greatest sport ever.

  • all these comments are making me cry! :( you boys all sound so caring.

  • This friday I'll be going into my first game of my senior year. I've played football for 10 years and started on Varsity for 3 of those. Football is my life, truly. Every rep I make I think of making that sack. Every stride I make I think of knocking the helmet clear off the guy in front of me. I dream of Friday nights. Sure I have a good amount of D2 interest but to me college ball doesn't matter. I'll never forget the friends of made, the victorys ive taken with me and the tears ive shed.

  • football is a brotherhood... a bond btwn a bunch of young men who go out there each and everyday n give it their all. football is the best sport on the planet

  • its me again Diego Acosta..i just finish 2days and right after it ends im off the field for a week for being sick with merca.idk how to spell it. and 2mm im back on the field with my brothers and i have big game this Sat night. every night i dream doing the big play to change the game or big moment for the team. idk hearing this song makes me go free and the chills comes all the time i know i love footabll now this proves it.

  • best sport ever

  • theres no better sport than football , make it last when you can

  • you play because you love it , the pain and joy in your heart and soul is there forever

  • Football is the greatest sport hands down. The Atmosphere, the lights, the feeling you get when the lights come on. There is no other feeling than playing Football. I miss football more than anything. This song makes me think of my last game against our rivals in the first round of the playoffs and falling short at Home. No other pain is like what i experienced that day.

  • clear eyes full hearts can't lose!!!

  • First Game today for the janesville parker vikings !!!!! Lets do it big men!! W.T.S.T.

  • if you live in wisconsin your frist game is tomarrow all i hve to say is paly your heart out and youll do great in the name of the greenbay linebakers coach IT IS TIME IT IS TIME strap up and hit the field boys its game day

  • i didnt play my freshman or sophmore year cause i didnt think it was for me, but now that im a junior in high school i realized that this is my sport i love this sport even though right now my back is fucked up and ankles hurt and stuff I LOVE THIS GAME!!

  • football is a game of inches, sure i got that from any given sunday but, it proved its point at the end of the movie, and that one inch took the championship away, last year we won the championship for 8th grade and the last play was to the endzone and the receiver for the other team dove for the ball and rolled of his fingertips, if he would of had one more inch, they would have won. Determination, hard work, perseverance. Football.

  • I fee like anyone who plays a sport can relate to this song especially if they made it to the championship and lost. it reminds you to never give up, always keep working hard and eventually you'll get there

  • You guys out in the states, you don't know how good you got it!

I'm a Football player from England, and I'd give for the sport to have the religion it does out there, over here. Reading the book behind this, it makes you realize how much you love football, and how much as a player over here, you wish you had the standards of coaching you guys have out there! I play in front of maybe, 20/25 people week in week out. I'd love for, just once, to walk out underneath those lights.

  • me graduating last year and now your sitting in the stands saying....i was on this field a year ago....that was my number....listening to this makes you realize that life is special...and being a man .eans that football is life..everybody that has played high school football has had that feeling of "i want to win" no matter if ur the starting QB or the last man on the roster..it stays with you forever i know it does...its there everytime we close our eyes and imagine..what if i had one more play

  • if you live in wisocnsin you just had your last 2 a day i play form 4th grade to till my last year of high school and now im coaching the line men for my old high school just play every snap like its your last cus it very easly could be are mantra is MAX OUT do that evry play and you will be a sucsuful player and team

  • my name is Diego Acosta ... i been training so hard this season coming up the last 3 years i regret cuz i didnt play to my potential i wish i did but now going to my senior year in highschool i realized that its almost over and it will be my last shot playing with my boys i knew for years and now i have shot to show the coaches im different this year i wanna play every play like its my last cuz the last 8 months went quick now next week its starts...i wanna be the best player i can be not quit.

  • @adrianasofia2481 real talk.

  • @adrianasofia2481 I feel you man. I played Freshman but didn't play Jv cause I thought it wasn't for me. As it went by I saw how my friends on the team going on about the games and it made me realize how much I love this sport. I came back on Varsity the next year but didn't play due to a year without football but was on the pratice squad and an impression on the coaches. Now I'm a senior and deterimed to put in my hardwork from the preseaon and leave it all on the field.

  • @adrianasofia2481 do your thing brutha ball outt !!!

  • This song makes me think alot about good things and ba things about football idk what to do should I play or not idk?

  • @CWellzZ I agree, this song is way more than just a theme song to a football movie. It makes you think about everything and it gets me through a lot. Play football while you can dude so you wont have that regret later on. Football got me through everything when i was going through a rough time, when your out there you dont have time to think about anything else, you forget about it all and just play the game. It truly is a great sport and enjoy it while you can man.

  • @StilezC... Just take it easy. The kid might mean friends that are girls. It's nothing to get mad about. Didn't you have a girlfriend at 15? nothing to get mad about... U like girls too... So don't be a hater, be happy...

  • Nothing like them Friday Night Lights<3

  • I am young kid from a small town called utica. Me and my friends started playing football last summer we played every single day of that summer not once did we not play a game at least once a day unless we all went out to the mall and hung out with our girlfriends or just to go hang out with eachother and chill. I am 15 going into the 9th grade i never played a single year of football. but just that summer has made me fall in love with the sport i will play...

Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Cant Lose.

  • @xxsigkidxx ur seriously a fuckin fag. thats more like bragging than being insperational. this song does not fit to your story at all. "we hung with our girlfriends at the mall" wtf? arent you to young to have one. plus, people who use that shit dont have one. just like if u comment saying ur black and u brag about it, your most likely white.

  • Comment removed

  • @xxsigkidxx 1. I have a job unlike you. 2. I make more money in a week than you will make in a year. suck on that little bitch.

  • I played up until my sophmore year in high school then had to quit that summer because of back problems, I almost would of took the chance of geting hit in the back the wrong way, to play those last two years. Football was everything to me my heart was broken soon after that. going into the coaches office and telling the coach that I had to quit was one of the hardest things i ever had to do, it took everything i had not too tear up.

  • I love football, I used to live in Arkansas but moved to Ireland at 8 years old, just the age to play football in my town and now I've to settle for Rugby, I'd give anything to play FOOTBALL!!

  • Just finished the entire Friday Night Light series today. It was one hell of an emotional roller coaster. Amazing show, one of the best show I've ever seen. CLEAR EYES, FULL HEARTS, CAN'T LOSE!!!!!

  • REMINDS ME OF STATE 3-5-11 FOR wrestling..coming out the shoot with goose bumps!

  • It doesnt matter what sport you play it can be football.soccer or any other sport but sports it what bring us together as a family!

  • i wish i had memories to talk about like the rest of you. instead, i've lived my life in New Zealand being a football fan in a country where the sport is almost non existent. i hate the fact i never got to experience any of it in my years through school. i hope the rest of you cherish those memories forever.

  • @41nowitzki4141 Yeah but we got rugby which is way better anyway! And the world cups gonna be epic!

  • Very inspirational song. If could digress a moment from all the sad former jocks out there who love the TV series, Friday Night Lights, because it uses football as the focus, I'd venture to say this is the best written show on television. But not because of football. Look at the issues it covers: racism, alcohol abuse, infidelity, prostitution, parenting, growing up etc, etc. Yes, football is integral in the series, but it's not a feel good show about football. That is what makes it great.

  • i couldn't play football because off grades its my senior and when i look back at my high school career all i like about coming to school is football practice and games. you don't really think about it until its gone so for all u guys playing football just cherish it because u wont until its gone.

  • this song brings chills to my body..its crazy to think what songs can do to you damnnn im taken back

  • CLEAR EYES FULL HEARTS

  • @Bonjii00 Can't lose.

  • and i have so much to say but i would be sitting here for days talking about this because its so emotional and its crazy what football can do for you

  • Football is life. There is no other sport in the wordl that brings emostions like football does. IT brings everybody together like one big family no matter how much you hate someone, or what happened in the past. I go to Brentwood High School and im going to be a senior this year. We went to state when i was a sophmore and we lost and i cried then.when this season is over its going to be hard to let go cuz football is my life and the teammates i played since 5th grade are my life. Brotherhood!!!

  • state champ 2006-2007! i miss football, wish i could go back to high school and play again!

  • I'm an incoming freshman for my highschool. My schools varsity team played for state last year but lost buy 7. I haven't always played football but I have always loved it. There is no better feeling than being out there with your brothers sweating and bleeding together. Cant wait till varsity.

  • This song really makes you think

  • All I can say is, find more gentlemen. The triumphs of our younger years pales in comparison to the good you can do once you figure out the lay of the land. Football only prepared you for more; if you think that this is the end all and be all...I feel bad for you. Be more, do more, read more, and in the end, you'll look at your time as a youth as merely preparation for the the great heights you'll achieve.

  • If I had the chance to make a music video for this song, based on highschool football, wrestling, basketball, baseball, etc. It would be EPIC.

  • I'm 28 and there is no way in hell I would go back to those days! More than anything I want to be a father around the football field again but still I read the Top Comments and I felt that way for so long! Trust me 21-24 I was like damn high school blah blah blah. Live for the future.

  • Coaches always say "play every play like its your last". Nobody really thinks anything of it until it is your last play. My football career was cut short, i had scouts looking at me, a possible future with football. I got hurt and it turned out to be my last play. Man what i would give to be back out there with my teamates. The brotherhood you make with those guys, the bond. It's something unimaginable. It hurts to think about, sport careers only last for so long. Make the best of it.

  • Football is the greatest sport there is. Im a junior in highschool and played football for 8 years. Last year i found out i can never play football again, you never realize how much you love it until you cant play anymore. I use to listen to this song before every game. It brings back all the great memories. I would give anything to play again. I miss 2 adays, watching game film, sprints, but most of all the lights. Dont take anything for granted. It can be gone before you know it.

  • @MrSportsfantic21 That sucks man... Why can't you play anymore?

  • @xThemalemodelsx One too many concussions, its a shitty feeling to shake.

  • @MrSportsfantic21 I know how you feel. I was playing in the playoffs my junior year and was a running back. I had a great year setting conference records and it was the fourth quarter. We went a straight run through the middle i got past your defensive line and the safety had got my leg and i still trying to get a little more yards then this linebacker hits me and i tear my ACL. I couldn't play my senior year because the doctors told me not to risk it. I hated watching my team play without me

  • @dakota4859 Yeah dude, theres nothing worse than sitting on the sideline watching your team with that itch inside of you wanting to be out there playing with them. I have two more years left of highschool, going out on friday nights now as part of the crowd to watch is going to suck. Cant wait

  • @MrSportsfantic21 I feel you buddy. I tore my ACL in the home opener my last year in high school and was out for 6 months. Watching the season go by on the sidelines was the hardest thing ive ever had to do.
