Didn't WWE have an issue with some third party bookings a few years ago? A couple of examples that spring to mind was a promotion booked Carlito against Abyss from TNA and Vince pulled Carlito from the match up, and also Memphis tried to do a rematch from the late 70's/early 80's between Jerry Lawler and Hulk Hogan and Vince pulled Lawler out of the match, causing him to be replaced by Paul Wight (The Big Show) who wasnt working for Vince at the time
