What about giving good useable items to charity's does that work ?

I can give items that I have but I do not have money to give money .

How come you can't give money to a family member, but to strangers?

And what if I only have $10, and if I was to give it to somebody I would not have any left to eat? Should I give it away and hope for a flow of money to come in return?

It has to do with your attachment to the outcome. With a family member, it's sometimes "easier" to give to them, and the ease of that giving probably blocks a more dynamic flow of energy that might be generated by giving to perhaps a stranger or cause that is outside of your immediate comfort level. Giving to a family member is good, but to "jump start" money, it is better to give to people/causes that you won't expect some sort of immediate gratification from.

I've been doing everything you've been talking about i've done alot of giving to charities, and to my family, I've also been trying to enjoy myself and have fun, But i don't know how it feels to be grateful. I think in my head but i don't know how to feel it. When i play sports it makes me feel wonderful inside and it's my passion and love. I'm still in rough times maybe because i'm not smart enough to learn anything to make money, also my communication skills are horrible.
