I know there is a one dimension, this is the origin or father of all phenomenon or appearances..Would a Christian or HIndu believe this to be their God...?
occam's razor, people. whether or not i believe in a god has had no effect on the way my environment interacts with me (i've experienced no evidence that favors the existance of karma or any god-like beings). so why should i believe in things that i haven't experienced? religion is our way of filling in the gaps of our knowledge without using the scientific method.
Homosexuality and gender variance have been represented within Hinduism from Vedic times through to the present day, in rituals, law books, mythical narratives, commentaries, paintings, and sculpture.
The Dravidians or dalits are the first civilization in the Indus(Hindu)

Hey Friend, guess what! The stupendous Bhagvad Gita opened our eyes and my parents, siblings and I are back to practicing our glorious Sanatana Dharma way of life (what you call "Hinduism"). Albert Einstein said the following on the Gita: "When I read the Gita and think about how God created this universe, everything else seems so superfluous." I am proud to be Hindu! :)
Jesus was a SatGuru, a spiritual Master of his times. Bible is manipulated! Which version Bible are we talking about. Check out the video, "Bible is repulsive" on YouTube. The world is not flat.
anticonversion, Hinduism is full of wider beliefs. The science is one aspect, which is cool, just knowlege. But there is also a lot of nonsense and insane ritualistic teaching. There is good teaching, and then insane.
Hindus in India to be honest are a joke, they way some worship. It's freaky. This is my opinion and I am sure millions will agree, having some elephant god as a statue where people sing songs and act foolishly weird, it's scary. I do wonder why Western Europe has moved on. ;)

Every living creature and everything in creation is sacred, for it is made by the Lord and there is the energy of the Lord in it!
If a higher evolved beings life is in jeopardy because of the low evolved one (eg snake or rat) then there is nothing wrong in killing the low evolved one if there is no other option. Pls go in-depth into the Hindu philosophy before criticising what u see on the surface! God bless U!
And I love eating beef. I don't eat too much meat, probably, three times a week, and my diet is healthy.
But saying eating beef is wrong, because in your culture it gave milk and for farming is not right, because for example in Britain, it provided rich food in the earlier centuries.
Too much meat, is not good to eat. Just a little is ok, but overall, India is full of freaky religions.
Some look nice and cool, but others one TINY example of rat worshipping is crazy.
God cannot have thought up the universe because doing so would need consciousness. In order for consciousness to exist you would need physics to create a realm of existence consisting of multiple physical aspects like dimensions and time. The second you assume a consciousness created the universe you fool yourself because nothingness with a conscious isn't nothing, it is consciousness. This means that when you finally arrive at the conditions needed for God, you no longer need him.
You assume that we have a clear understanding of what consciousness is. I think you'll find that the research is less than comprehensive. If you know what consciousness is, then you can argue that it is dependent on something. We assume that the default position of the universe is emptiness, but perhaps the default position is consciousness. I don't think anyone has enough evidence to argue either of these opinions.
since the beging in veds etc. it is that there are 9 planets in our solar system
which after thousands of years was proved
each and every thing is true, regarding ramayan it had been also proved through NASA's computers,we give nakshatrayas and there is pattern of star which can be studied and proved
each thing can be proved maybe not today but in future
That is India, its what seperates us from the middle east. Three religions have sprung up in that region and they spend all their time, money and resource killing each other. Hindu's, Buddhists, and Jains have generaly coexisted well and come from the same Bharat.
Seriously, like, if you just accept brahman as anything from probability waves to physical properties, (which, by definition, it is), it's pretty superfluous to say the Vedas and science are separate in the first place.
The most authentic Bhagavad Gita with original sanskrit and word for word translations from the original ancient texts, without changing the original meanings are A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupadas and Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharajas translations. They stick 100% to the original purports without interpreting anything.
I have that Bhagavad Gita and also the one translated by Paramahansa Yogananda. I like Yoganandaji's style of writing and consider him as a Satguru so I read that more. I feel that a true Satguru would translate it correctly.
it is said that sri shankaracharya(8th C.) was the last person to keep the form of the bhagavad gita as it is now! so ultimately bhaktivedanta's detested 'impersonalists' helped keep it as it is! Bhaktivedanta's bias against advaitans takes part in his commentaries!! silly...
Good then...u keep reading tht...to me it seems more like the Abhrahamic style of saying that our way is the only right way when Sanatana Dharma itself didn't mind different schools of thought...U can call me silly but ur attitude seems narrow minded. Jai Shri Krishna...Krishna is my beloved.
I didn't say this way is better than yours, I worship Sri Krishna too, it's just that I feel ISKCON considers itself superior to the other traditions always saying how silly impersonalists are etc., only Krishna is the Godhead, Shiva's fake, etc. so that comment about my way is right and yours is wrong is an ISKCON pretext itself! Sri Ramakrishna said there are many paths to the top of the mountain, your path is true as well..I'm offended when bhaktiv. bags impersonalists in Srimad Bhag.!
Honestly speaking, me too...I think is the Abhramic Hinduism sect which is acting like those religion which do not respect other religions and says tht "I am the only way, all others are wrong"....It sickens me when i hear such people, be it a ISCKON devotee or a Missionary or a Muslim bigot..I treat it as a sin and totally ignorant.
'avil allah noor upaya kudrat ke sab banday' we are all children of the same almighty..abrahamic faiths do have at their core the same negative attitude towards all others...Long Live Dharma
unlike jainism and buddhism which are pieces of shit copied from Hinduism they cannot say when the earth was created unlike Hinduism which says the earth was created 4.5 billion years ago.
I am a Hindu too but I do not accept what you have said. Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) is all about tolerance and says that everyone has the right to approach God in their own way. It also accepts different Schools of Philosophy so it also considers Jainism, Buddhism etc as different true paths to God. In the end a God lover Jain and Buddhist will find GOD but an Egoistical Hindu won't. Krishna bless you.
true...I believe that a lot of people in this world follow the bastardised versions of their religions. It is just a humans lower self and Ego which makes him/her do so. I do not want the Hindus to become like the missionaries who do not respect any other religion.
There is no such thing as Hinduism as the name Hinduism would mean belief in the river Indus. The 9 philosophies, Nav-Ratnas (9 gems) of India like Samkhya, Yoga, Nyaya, Vaiseshika, Purva-Mimamsa, Uttara-Mimamsa, Charvaka, Jainism & Buddhism make up one Sanatana Dharma, the Eternal Religion.
man the more i read into this information theres always the impression that the british destroyed evrything from the indians eygyptions evrything, and to me it sounds and looks like they've rigged history, but for what and why? i cant beleive how the jesus story is identical to Krishna's tale who was b4 jesus, amazing were all so dumb and gullable
they did my friend, they absolutely did. You forgot the Red India race of America and the Native Aboriginals of Australia. In fact I feel so so sorry for the native Aboriginals of Australia. Their race is almost extinct. India is still facing the repercussions of the British rule. Watch the video, "Invasion Thru Conversion" and you will know how they still bother us.

Dear 'anticonversion',
I am drawn into this forum, not but as an intruder.
I agree broadly(hope others shed their narrow spectra), with your vision of Hinduism.
But how long can your tolerance, belief and love remain 'one-sided' !
Tolerance can not be misutilised by others as your 'Weakness' !!
What was the Role and what did Lord Krishna, preach in The Battle Field Of Kurukshetra, in The Mahabharat !!!
May that Lord Krishna Bless You With His Consciousness !
LOVE and PEACE.
