guild killed karathress last night in 3 atempts. we killed tidalves first because our healers couldnt keep the tank up on him long enough for 2 adds. once he is down though this fight is a joke. great video and GL to other guild starting this guy.

My guild has a saying "The shaman tank is the main boss" because he's been known to wtfpwn someone in the face, whereas Karathress himself tends to do less ... "serious?" damage?

Ya, we have our highest HP tank on him due to his HUGE spike damage, his individual atks are not overly heavy, but with the windfury on his weapon and frost shocs that can go off at the same time he has the potential to all but one shot a tank. takes us 4 healers on him alone, all other bosses can be solo healed untill tidalves dies then healers go 3 to karathress and one splits between caribdis grp and sharkis tank.

Had a Spitfire Totem down, target the tank at the exact moment he frost shocked and had a windfury proc. The ranged dps is like "Why didn't you heal him?" 21k in 1.2 seconds, there is no healing that. >.>

Good video as always, very heal intensive fight, all healers should be flasked and have a stock-pile of pots, Once you get the pull down this fight becomes very easy.
