I have one of these kits, and one of these days I intend to make a small personal survival/emergency kit as you have done. As you say it is crush proof and highly water resistant. I question whether it will make a practical belt carried kit. I'll be interested to see if you have made a follow up video showing this. I'd be more likely to carry it in the top of my pack.
Thanks man. Yeah there's nothing wrong with the Altoids thing, to me it was just too small for a dedicated survival kit. Although I have found some metal cases in similar size to my Pelican that are water proof and have the plus of being able to cook with them.

are you referring to the hard case? I haven't tried full on sledge, but I have used and abused that case.
