@MrVAPilot lol of course this game is a cpu based not gpu im running this game on a duo core at 3ghz 250gts 512mb and 4gb ram i get an average fps at 20 to 30 with that cpu i7 and card also ram u will be hitting about 50 fps or more depending how high you are going to put your settings mine are mostly high i think only one thing is on med on mine but the rest high dx10 as well

@reedy111111111111111 it definitely should, my HP pavillion with a 2.1ghz dual core amd and 3 gigs of ram runs fsx fine on medium to high settings since alienware are gaming machines it should run well.

Did you know that the best way to fly a helicopter is by clicking the height throttle in the plane then moving the screen back to normal facing foward then all you do it move the mouse up or down and it will bring you up to the exact hight that you want so if you just want to hover you can do that its how i fly and i love it XD but i still use my original throttle lol

Ops, I meant Q9100, not QX9100. A gaming laptop called Sager W860CU that has the 2.66 Ghz mobile i7 (Quad) is also expected in October. It is an updated version of my laptop.

Gaming laptops are very expensive but great if you want to game at any different locations you happen to be at which for me makes it worth it.

My laptop specs are 2.0 Ghz Q9000 Core2Quad, GTX 260M, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 X64 RC 7100. I found the SP1 patch improved performance so much and sometimes each Core is being used at 100%. Before that patch it was only using 2 Cores.

Quad cores in laptops, specifically gaming laptops have been around for quite some time now. Some of the different ones you can get are QX9100, QX9300, Q9000 and they even have ones fitted with i7. The Sager NP9262 which is way expensive has a 3.0 Ghz Quad in it but my one is a lot cheaper because it is only 2.0 Ghz. Plays GTA IV at 30-40 fps though so I am happy. They either have the mobile version of the Quad which is usually 2 Core2Duos sharing the same die in some cases.

What resolution did you use?. I bet you wont have that fps in ORLY or Seattle international or any major city unless you put everything to low:P.
