I have been searching for a Dr. who would find a diagnosis for years. I have a granuloma on my lungs, high lymphs count constantly sick, granuloma on my kidney, some spots on my brain.
My blood tests came back negative for sarcoidosis. Is it possible that blood test not always shows positive for this condition? I have multiple organs involved, test for cancer negative. Any answer would be appreciated. Thank you.
i'm 53 now and was diagnosed back in 2001.had the whole works bumps on legs with black and blue spots,non stop cough severe pain in my joints weakness(could only walk to bed and back for the first month.right now it's good.mine is pulmonary sarc. i came from Cuba at 4 yrs of age in1961. i think this affects all peoples as i see white black hispanics affected the same.bernie mac,tisha campbell,reggie white sarc victims(tisha still with us, God bless

GREAT VIDEO! I've had sarcoidosis for the past 8 years. I was on prednisone for 2 years..got off of it...the Sarcoidosis stayed in remission for 4 years..and came back with a worse. So I've been on Prenisone for 2 years..it is doing ok but the prednisone is effecting me in other ways. Does anyone know what else works other than prednisone
53 yr old W/M diagnoised w sarcoid apprx 10 yrs ago. mostly in broncial tubes.Permenant scarring has had me on 50/500 advair,abutoral,10m predizone + singular. CT-scans monitor movement in lymph nodes.Dr.Bowen at Mn.LungCenter is my specialist.Good communicator.
I'm a male and at age 39 I had surgery to remove a sarcoid 2 mm mass from my upper right lung. Three months later it went into my spleen. I then did a few months of prednisone, then year after that I was clear of sarcoid. I'm a white male and my heritage is from England, Irish, and Stotish. Not really in the profile for this.

I am a 41 year old w/f with chronic sarcoid. If I am not on prednisone I dont have the energy to do anything. Is this normal?
