I had one of these. not XL, but just standard 8 cylindar. Everything original... interior, glass, dash... It was put in a junkyard after a fire that totally ruined the body. It really was a shame. It was a huge loss.
I had a maroon '63 Galaxy 500 XL (352 Auto) in high school. Cleaning up the huge thing and polishing the chrome and cruising it on Fri & Sat nights got a lot of cheers. Thanks for sharing. Mine was a 4 door also. Very clean car you've got there!
