This graphics card was my computers default card. I can run tf2, gmod, and various mods on steam perfectly with the acception of running the games on low to normal quality.

For the price of this card there should be no reason not to just get a regular graphics card that can also game. But, for a work environment, you do not need this $177 card to run dual monitors. There are cheaper cards that have 2 outputs that will handle any type of desktop application. They may not be adequate for people that work with gfx and such but there is still cheaper cards that handle 3d stuff just fin.

I agree with you, to a point. One of the main reasons why these type of cards are so expensive is the way nVidia designs them to be extremely stable with a very long life span.

Your not going to get the stability, longevity and efficiency with a 9300 than a NVS series. These NVS cards are made to rot for years to come, collecting dust in a business computer until the applications it runs meet more demand.

Well you're actually wrong. Gaming drives the industry to produce better graphics cards and make them cheaper for people like you that don't care. Crysis is a shit game and really just to show of graphics. If it weren't for gamers demanding more and more we'd still be stuck with nintendo graphics. They do matter in this case.

he's right with the vga thing, that goes to 2048x1536, iv been running a 19" monitor at that for years, but Dual DVI is supposed to allow 2560x1600 so you can run 30" monitors.

...Why did I choose this card for my Dell-built workstation? I might be using this mostly for work, but I want at least DECENT support for anti-aliasing with this... -_- I can't run Stepmania, Project64 OR Guild Wars with any anti-aliasing, and I have a Q6600 CPU with 2GB of RAM. I should at least be able to run Stepmania on the highest settings.
