hi ther,i want to upgrade my 5 year old 32inc samsung lcd ,noticed this at 339 at pc world a great price and good size 42inc.only worry is screen burn and no full 1080p only hd ready. .all so thinking would this be better then a led screen?same old led vs plasma debate......help...thanks
@memet360 i was reading a lot about TVs when I was choosing a year ago...the current LED TVs are nothing else but a bit more advanced LCD....personally I prefer plasma ....
I saw both systems in the shop and I was able to compare them pretty well. It depends from your "eye perception" but my choice was plasma...
i have this plasma on 42'' .. its superb 600hz is the best feature .. before this i have samsung LCD that only have 60 hz always create blurs of racing games like burnout or split second on 360 but this is plasma t.v is alike one peice frm heaven's theater ;)
@someweirdstuff Does the tv show any image retention when you use it with your 360, I'm getting one for Christmas and I don't know whether the HUD of some games (halo and COD) will burn in. :)

The description is incorrect. It DOES NOT support videos from the USB input which is a big deal to me.

@ryans450 it DOES support videos from any usb hard drive.
I have 500 mb, 4 gb usb flash drives and also 500 GB external hard disk and the TV easily reads movies and videos from there.

@redcho
My mistake.
After further research, it appears the European version does but the North American version does not.

@APImma I use it for gaming and it is awesome. You do not have to worry about burn in on any plasma tv anymore.

@schwarziscity What year are you living in? 2005? Plasma TV's do not burn in anymore. Unless its some random asian brand of course.
