  • u drew nassica with a small face >=(

  • looks as if you colored some in n water color...........ummmmmmmmm

  • ill give u my oppinion. a couple were kinda crappy but overall i thought that they were well done. i liked the one of naruto the best. keep up the drawing ur pretty good.

  • lol thats not my style of drawings ATALL! LOL its so wierd seeing completly diffrent types of drawings lol XD hey, can u check mine out?

  • Well alot of these drawings are pretty ancient to me now, with most being over 12 months old. Since then I've concentrated on realism and portraits, I'll keep this up as a show of progress, once I've got up the 4th video exhibiting my most recent 'artwork'. Also my Manga style has improved since I took up lifedrawing sessions.

  • As for your drawings, your in a similar boat to where I was about a year and half ago with drawing. Your copied stuff looks fairly good (regarding the Gaara), but when it comes to your own stuff the anatomy needs work. To improve swiftly an advisable thing to do would be to buy a small sketchbook and sketching pen and just sit on a bench in a public park or in the middle of a crowd of people and just draw your surroundings. It'll help your persepective and anatomy to a great degree.

  • Also as I said in my previous comment, Lifedrawing sessions would improve your ab ility with anatomy. (it's also advisable to check out for anatomy books, but these don't help as much as drawing a model who moves) As all Manga is, is a simplification of realism, most proper Japanese Manga-ka are brilliant lifedrawers who completely understand shade qualities, persepective, and anatomy.

  • You talk too much !

  • alot of the drawings are not preportioned right. but keep goin

  • Yur manga drawings aren't half bad, but yur non manga drawings arent bad

  • wow there way good keep up the good work =]

  • Yaaaaaay! A fellow manga artist! I am subscribing to you now! ^_^ I am haven't put together a slideshow of my pics but i will do it soon hopefully! Can i add you as a friend?

  • telent and potential! like some of them. althou others arn't so good.but ya if u keep practicing u can get real good. ur around my level of manga skill

  • these are really good!

  • I think you are extremely good at clothes! I absolutely loved :16 :37 :50 1:11 3:12 those were really good. I can see you drawing manga as a career.

  • wow ur really something...cool pics ...keep tryin!

  • mmm your anatomy needs some work and give your people a little bit of... muscle and such. manga and anime are nice start offs but to get your work really noticed try drawing realistically. I drew anime at first and now i am slowly sliding my way into realism. But as my mom says 'draw what you see not what you know' and take that to heart. Your incline to getting better is a long hard road but dont give up! keep practicing =D

  • hello sweet!

  • Manga is mostly drawn by people who are too lazy to pay attention to anatomy.

  • u need work some of ur bodys were wayyyy to small....

  • You drew Haematite X3 You made her look so cute =)

  • Wow thnx for the reply, that was one of my first Manga drawings.

  • so many comments!!! i hardly see so many positive comments on most videos.

You really see things as they are.

    Good on ya.

    peace! sp.

  • Fantastic stuff R, so glad you gave me the link, keep up the brilliant work :-) Mrs E-B & don't forget the letter!!!

  • Will do. :)

  • I was entranced for 4 minutes; you've captured the mood of each character very well, and the music molds it all together nicely. Top notch kage

  • I think you are talented. You do need to work on some of your proportions, but I think you have a very good start on you.

Helpful things to improve: Really study something and try to draw it (studying it is important! notice the shadows and shape). my specialty may be wolves, but I know that by studying a face or body can help a lot. Even use circle anatomy(it helps). tip: Measure from the top of the head to the waist, then use that measurement to make the lower half. keep drawing!

  • Thnx.

  • so good!work hard ar

try to draw the other topic

    i think will be good

  • I like some i don't like others. I think the better ones are the Manga ones

  • They're all Manga, but i agree with you on Varying quality, some pics are just fillers (early Manga drawings), to fill-out the running time of the song.

  • Ur amazinf at drawing extra textures ^_^ some pics aren't too great but most r amazing it rox! ^_^the pic at 1:37 kinda scares me and then on after it is soo kute and drawn very well

  • pretty good

  • You're quite capable of drawing. Watch out alot on the proportions, you seriously should try drawing the basic skeleton first. Observe your drawings very carefully for any flaws. I can only advise you, practise alot.

  • your really good! lucky, i can't even draw decent stick figures X.X

  • Neither can i, it's only Realism or Manga...Oh how i yearn to draw stick figures.

  • *hits u* yeah RIGHT, everyone wants to be able to draw stick figures *rolls eyes* jk

  • theyre okay....

  • Wow, these are great! I wonder if you could help me out... I leave you a message.

  • hmmm these are pretty good but some are wierd like the 4th.

  • ther good drawings but i dunno what it is lol but ther good

  • I love your anime drawings!

i have gotten some into anime...but i was never very good at the whole cartoony thing,I'm better at real life portraits....Anyway...Awesome drawings!!

  • I think it's alrite. You need to practice more though. Try to learn human proportion and shiet. I like the idea you are trying to show us but it take years and years to master your form of art. Just keep practicing drawing and you'll be fine xD

  • You draw very nicely, I like the third picture. xD

  • I think there is a lot you could improve on. Study from life, not from manga books or other pictures. Get the true study of proportion. It'll help a lot.

  • oh these are awesome :) you are very talented!

  • Truly no offense but you're drawings are merely o.k. You want to work on your proportions and pay attention to detail. I noticed that many of your drawings have extreamly long necks. Only when the head is lifted up should it be that long. Also try to come up with your own characters. I recognize many of them. Keep it up!

  • cooliness

  • omg lol i love the cure, robert in hot pink and green socks and crooked lipstick, omg i'm in love with that

  • Sweet art work. Keep it up. Good luck to you & your family. Peace

  • wow thats very good!!

  • wow ur really good!

  • Good work! Very talented!

  • Cool Draqings man

  • It is good. U really have a draftsmanship!

  • pretty good stuff. I like the ones you did with water color. It's possible to do some amazing things with watercolor. Try working with charcoal too. You can really start to build tone with charcoal and I think they might be the key you're missing in your drawings. Also try researching about body proportions. It'll help =)

  • Great job. some of your drawings where really good!

with a little more practice you could be even better.

    You have a gift.

  • you asked for an opinion form me and I'll give it to you! ^^ I really love your drawings! you have a GREAT talent I REALLY loved them!

  • nice drawings

  • you are a very talented person man! these drawings are fantastic, you really have a gift or you've worked hard for it!

  • i love youre style its very enchanting. post more!

  • Awesome shading

  • ...I don't know that anime...cool drawings anyway!

  • great job!keep up the great work^ _ ^

  • still needs work but getting a little better.

  • Wow u r good i hope i can draw like that kool art work ^_^ good Job keep up the great and awsome work ^_^ hope u'll put some more of ur art work here lol oh and this is kimaly ^_^

  • very nice!

  • i will give u an 8 and thats cool ^^

  • I really like some of these

  • very nice !

  • decent job, this 'eyeballing' term of drawing other pictures IS art. its how many people start off drawing in the first place. drawing from the world around you is the best way to get practice and drawing other peoples manga, while mentioning that they aren't yours originally like u did, is very good practice for getting better at manga.

  • I've stopped doing it now, I only 'eyeballed', let's just say copied drawings, in the first few months of doing manga and now i'm making stuff of my own creation. Examples in my video are; the girl in the city(0:25), the person leaning(0:40), (0:55), the girl walking (1:30), (1:55), the realism/manga hybrid(2:05), the girl on the beach(2:50), blue-haired girl(3:20), and that's it for this video, though most of the stuff i make up now is in A3 and it's a pain to scan.

  • Nice drawings. Liked the music too...good job.

  • Really cute drawings!!I like the perspective you've drawn!!I never can draw from the side-perspective^^#

  • hey- you have talent- hope you persue it- nothing is harder and more rewarding than a career in the arts- you obviously have a passion for this!-Deb:)

  • But some are disportional. Like at :25 and the 2 after that.

  • good expressionism work. I like some of them

  • ^_^ Good start on drawings. A bit more practice wouldn't hurt though...

  • Some were really good!

  • wow, liked it a lot, thanks!

  • Did you eyeball these?

    Ive seen them before.

Your drawings change alot which also hint you eyeballed them

  • What the fuck does 'eyeballing them' mean? If you're asking if they're copies, then yes a predominant amount are copies, but there is a few stuff of my own making.

  • Your quick to get angry arn't you?

Eyeballing is looking at a picture and copying it onto paper.

Eyeballing isn't art and you dont really deserve these comments you get.

You could at least say Ok they arn't my designs, they are copied.

  • Erm.... Vincent Van Gogh copied Ukiyo-e woodcuts, but you don't see many art critics denouncing his work for making tribute's to his favourite art pieces.

  • i think she did further up and 'eyeballing' is how most beginners learn the fundementals of drawing, well thats how i did anyway.

  • nice! i like the third one a lot :)

and the one with the girl in the bar

  • I made-up the girl in the bar, which is kind of nice that you complimented one of my own designs.

  • Safe

  • hey, i saw your comment on my channel, so i thort i would take a look, tell ya what those are wikkid, u shud take them 2 art museums because you never know :) and good song aswell. keep up the good work :)

  • wow, you´re drawings are great!! you´re talented;) keep it up!

  • ive seen way better than this, you definately need to work on a lot, shading is not too realistic and proportions are way off!sorry if this sounds harsh but you put em up so you could get opinions, this is just mine!

  • hey, nice work^^

  • very nice drawings there ^^ i like the shading on all of them, especially the nasty guy from battle royale, i think on some of them, you need to focus on getting the proportions up to scratch, some of their heads need to be a bit bigger and the arms a bit thicker but that will all come in practise. i really like your art so keep drawing ^__^

  • coooooooooooooool *.*

  • WOW!!! i REALLY REALLY LYK THIS!!! they r AWESOME!! better than i could ever do!!lol 5/5 i lyk how u shaded them ^-^ i don't usually shade..cuz i'm horrible at it..lol

  • nice.... the shadin's awesome, and the music is to XD

to b honest work on the character's face, but the clothes is cool tho XD

  • nice!

  • you drew all of these hmm not bad

  • hmm.... some of the limbs aren't in the right proportion...

but i must say your shading is really good!

you've got talent! ^^ good for you!

  • wow....u drew all tat....tats really good ^^

  • some of it good

  • Kepp playing with it, and do what you can to PUSH yourself - But - overall not too bad.

    -R.

  • Those are REALLY good! I like how you shaded them! I almost never have the patience to do that, but I don't draw a lot anymore anyway... The only thing you need to do is practice. I don't see any major flaws or anything :)

  • Wow, that was a very nice art showcase you put out there. Well i think your shading was perfect, keep drawing!!!! :)

  • Thanks very much. :)

  • Nice drawings ^__~

  • Really nice..I'd never could do that!

  • WOW!! these are real good, hehe some of the body party arent the right size n stuff, but i liked em!! hehe, i dunno how people draw good, do u take ages?? anyways i like them^^

  • It's mostly observation skills, take in what u r gonna draw before you put pencil to paper.

  • Wow lots of those were really good drawings. A lot of different concepts going on and it seemed like some had more detail then others. Right at the end the one of naruto looked very detailed and a few others did as well. So keep up the good work!

  • Nice shading on the clothes. The anatomy is messed up, so work on that. I've been at anime for a few years now and I guess I'll post some soon since I got a new scanner.

  • Niiice! :D

  • 5/5 , umm try making it have a sense of 3d .. work on ur anatomy too :)

  • there's good!!

    i can draw too~ i will put it one day..but i don't really draw alot..too busy..

  • its amaizing looks great

  • Very nice drawings! ^_^ Indeed, you have to work on getting proportions right in some areas, but other than that, your coloring, shading, and overall drawings are great! :)

  • Most are very good. In some of them the proportions are off, but it loks like you fixed that because in the second half you can definately see that you managed to get the hang of drawing manga. Very nice. 5/5

  • nice drawing tho nice done with naruto keeep up the good work

  • COOL

  • you have alot of work ahead of you, if anything i would suggest you learn to draw anatomy first. and the only effective way to do that is to draw from life. after you are good with basic anatomy , you can easily move to anime.

  • I did that soon after these drawings, for my art project at college, i drew a selection of Michelangelo proportion studies, i'll place them on youtube in a week or so.

  • These are fabulous! You've got a very good handle on shading and proportion and you do lovely coloring. The anime-style pictures are wonderful, but remember, the only way to realize your true potential as an artist is to try many different things. Good luck and don't ever stop drawing! :D

  • wow these are definetely good you make good use of shades and details keep it up ^^

  • Hey, your drawing skills show a lot of potential, definitely keep at it! Many artists use the manga style just to get their foot on the door, and over time develop a very unique style of their own. Its all a matter of practice, never give up :) btw, you should join comicspace if you havent already :)

  • No i haven't, i'll look for it.

  • hey drawings are wicked. i've been drawin manga for i dont know maybe 2 yrs and urs are sooo much better than mine! keep it up mate

  • Thanks very much!

  • I have been drawing Manga for 4 months now, and these are the results of my practicing. A good deal are copies (sorry), but there are 5 to 8 pieces that are of my own creation. (like the second colour piece) I mostly now draw my own characters and i am writing a Manga of my own. (that's the reason i took myself through all this practice)

  • The girl from 3:19 to 3:28 is of my own design, I drew her in rough sketch, and then took her through photoshop, to colour it in. (That's my most recent piece on the video, it shows the influence of Ken Akamustu, the artist/writer of Love Hina)

  • My drawing style has changed drastically since these, my style looks more like the girl with blue hair, and a light blue background in video, so my subsequent vids will not feature the harder drawing style shown here.
