  • I didn't get the hand motions at first but i saw another video here: /watch?v=YiqMot3HF3M&feature=related and after seeing the way that her arms pointed and the way the written letters face it makes so much sense now! so helpful thanks for this!

  • So fun! ^_^

  • Sin duda lo mas importante al momento de aprender algo, es el gusto por aprender, pero aun mas importante es, un buen maestro, el cual enseñe de forma divertida y que sus alumnos no olviden lo visto en clase, felicidades a esta maestra.

  • the problem i ALWAYS face is the difference between ㅓ and ㅗ

ㅓ sounds like "oh" then "yo" as in "yo dawg"

ㅗ sounds too similar to distinguish, let alone pronounce.

does anyone have any tips on these two?

  • @drewestification The only difference is that 'oh' in ㅓ is pronounced like "uh" as in the English word hut. But the "oh" in ㅗ is pronounced like the English o in home. It's subtle difference but when you know this it helps a lot. I've got a Hungul-in-a-hurry chart that is helping me with the subtle differences. Hope I helped!

  • GREAT! I'm so glad that this video was helpful.

She is actually very married and has children. She ages well. (We did not learn a consonant song.) This woman is one of the administrators for the institution I work for. She just came to help us learn some Korean basics during my orientation.

  • Wow, this really helped me! I'm a Canadian who just moved to Korea and that helped me with the vowels a lot! NIce moves. I didn't see a ring on the teachers finger. Single?

  • This is fantastic! Did you learn a song for the consonants too? Where can I take her class?

  • i want to know a song for the consonants too!

  • No, we did not learn a consonant song. She is one of the office workers and simply came to help us learn basic Korean during Orientation. Are you an English teacher in Korea?
