  • speechless

  • "I'm not handsome but everytime I play the violin, all of the women worship me"

    N. Paganini

  • Quelle merveille! Quelle perfection!

    Quel RÉGAL!!! MERCI

  • Grande Kremer

  • una musica deliciosa para mis oido

  • best paganini 17 .

  • fenomenal

  • Just incredible... I have no words after that kind of performance

  • really.....he looks like Paganini..

  • O.o

  • haha i love how they got him to dress like pagaini

  • holy freakin' shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh my God, there isn't ONE octave out of tune....

    it's just impossible....he's the best.

  • Just wonderful!

  • I have nothing to say about him, he is GREAT!!!

  • He's one of my favourite all time violinists. He plays with emotion and movement. My friends laugh when I do, but hey, makes you liek teh song, and makes the emotion in the song stand out too. I'm so grateful to have a teacher who pushes for that :)

  • He looks like paganini

  • what`s the name of the movie?

  • Damn, Paganini was a madman, wasn't he? For kicks, try listening to Eliot Fisk's CD. He transposes all 24 Capricci for the guitar. Not the most beautiful thing you've ever heard, but one of the most amazing feats!

  • Where can I download those? No results on any p2p, damn

  • Great

  • Im Tale zieht der Frühling auf!

  • absolutely brilliant

  • Kremer is simply genial...

  • anyone seen this movie? if so is it a good movie?

  • Mmmmm... I have seen this movie and I really like it even when the critic totally destroyed it. It is impossible for me to disrespect the passion of Kinski in this picture (not his best by any means, though)

  • Wow so many amazing Jewish violinists it's insane.

  • hmm you think it's their religion that makes them play so well? I would say they're really talented and worked very hard, no matter if they are Jewish or Christian or whatever....

  • I meant jewish by race. But I think neither race nor religion makes someone good. I'm an electric bassist, and people say I'm amazing but it's because I'm black, it is kind of annoying cause it undermines the fact that' I've practiced every single day I've got the instrument, with less than 5 exceptions. But yeah I'm atheist, don't worry. But yeah Kremer is amazing, and so is Heifetz and Menuhin and Perlman, but it's of course because they've practiced.

  • I hve never heard anyone playing Paganini like this, this guy is the best

  • best paganini 17 on world!!!!!!!!!

  • @umcaca

    Amen!

  • Kremer is WONDERFUL!!!!

  • By far the best fingered octaves I've ever heard...

  • really beaytifull...tehnically impresive, after Oistrakh and Kogan, one of the greatest Russian wonders.

  • kremer is a one badass motherfuc*@#$!

  • amazing

  • this is one of the most awesome things I've ever seen.

  • well let´s face it....this is fucking amazing.i never heard that in such a security...and in this tempo...very good.

  • RE the tuning, I'm pretty sure from my research that Paganini tuned his violin a semitone higher than other people in order to give extra brightness to the sound. Of course he didn't perform these Caprices in public, but when he played his concertos, for example, the orchestra played a semitone lower (e.g. the famous Concerto No.1 in D is actually written for the orchestra in E Flat whilst he played 'in D major') Awesome playing by the way! (Oh, and it has NOT been sped up!)

  • gotta love gidon kremer, and he's unusual looking enough to play paganini!!!!

  • the octaves in the mid part are, very fast, and everything in tune though...is hard to play like this

  • sure it's been sped up? I do hope so... however, Paganini himself never played the capricci in public...

  • Гидон- это гениально!!!

  • SICK kremer kicks ass

  • This was a great performance, though it's sped up so much that it's over a whole tone higher than A=440 HZ.

  • sounds exactly a semitone higher. That first "E-flat" exactly matches the E-natural on Noteworthy Composer. I don't think Noteworthy could be off-tune.

  • Best performance of No. 17, probably better than Paganini himself

  • That is truly ridiculous playing. I can't imagine Paganini could possibly have been better. Disappointing that the piece is abreviated. As for the movie, its really boring. Not even a "B" movie. its worse. I have seen it however in English.

  • the title in the movie is "Spring Symphony", that might be a better search

  • i wish i did, you can always search the title on eBay, Fluhlings Sinfonie

  • This movie is very cool, you can see Liszt trying to make fingering like on a piano. Which etudes are these, 17 & 18?
