Just wondering, I have ten parakeets, and hell they poop a LOT. Looking at this video, I noticed that there is no poop on the walls, cage sides, or even the toys! How is this possible?

Do you clip your birds wings at all? If you have them as a pet, are you supposed to? I would hate to have to clip their wings, and I notice your birds fly around a bit! They are all beautiful birds, it's making me want one as a pet!

My lovebird is scared of my fingers =( he only have 1 month with me and the only way that he accept my hand close to him is because i'm holding his favorite food haha so he eat from my hand but when i move any finger he run away =( sometimes he bite my finger when he is eating he knows is my finger and not the food, i dont make any move and he come directily to my finger and bite it in a soft way.. do you think he is trying to play or he want me away? =( (sorry my english)

I was waiting for this question, lol. This Bella is 2 years-old and used to be named Sunshine as a baby. When she first got adopted, the owners changed her name. Bella here is a lutino, Bella in the other video is a creamino.

this is so cute! i know this might sound weird but... how do i teach my three lovebirds to fly? one can fly real good and i think hes got it, but the other two just go straight down flappin away. the two that cant fly real good are from the same clutch. i dont know if they have there wings clipped or not, i dont believe they are clipped. is there a way that i can teach them to fly? i just thought that maybe you would know cause all of your babies fly real good. thanks in advance = )

You don't teach a bird to fly, they just do. Baby lovebirds fly around 5.5 weeks.

No they don't, and you probably don't want to get any more birds until you have done your research about protection.

Continuation: And one male left his female with eggs, fertile I think. She is breeding, keeps breeding, but I think without the male to feed her, the eggs won't become nestlings. I thought the male never leave the female when she is breeding.

Tamara, Rodney, hello. Last week I lost 3 lovebirds ( I had 6 ). I forgot to cut the wings for some weeks, they got to fly, found a window open in the upper part of the house, and they gone away across the window. They haven't came back, I think never they will come back. I never thought that they will leave the house, because here they had everything, food, water, sunlight, freedom to go in all parts of the house, boxes to live in. My gullibility.

For my lovebird I place newspaper in selected problem areas of my apartment. Over time my bird gets the idea that I would like for him to poop in certain spots. I reward him with lavish praise whenever he does so. Sometimes he wants treats.
